Maybe it's just me, but I don't think so. Either you guys have zero confidence in your ability to win games or run smack or we're playing in a conference full of people that were born without fingers or a brain. Otherwise, there would be a post or two about what's expected this season...so far I haven't seen any.

So let me lay it down.

We expect to kick each and every one of your asses, without exception. We wan't your Momma to be embarrassed to claim you. We want your Daddy to beat you down in shame of your failure, We want your girlfriend/boyfriend to drop you from impotence over our beatings.


If these goals are not accomplished, and our GLB team does not reduce your GLB team to a quivering mass of gelatinous goo, we will commit seppuku over this unsufferable personal failure and you will never hear from us again.

Unless your Mom calls, I think I left my keys under her pillow.

I give you 1/10 for effort.

I rate it roughly an 8 on the young teenage testosterone scale, and about a .5 on the adult throw-down scale.

I do my best not to posture, because I don't like insulting myself by pretending I think like the kids with whom my children attend school.

I TRY to remember to encourage other people to keep playing and to have fun.

I don't put any effort into encouraging hormonal activities as fun.

I don't mind if you run a little smack - I'll still call it like I see it though. If I don't think my team's gonna win I won't say that I expect us to win. I think there are 3-5 teams in this league better than mine - thankfully we managed to beat one of them. I'm hoping for the 4 seed this season and I think I have about a 50% chance of getting it.

You have two wins over even slightly decent teams and you required a 50 yard field goal with 30 seconds left to beat the 7 seed in the conference. My game against your sorry-ass team you is not one that I have as a potential loss. Better?

Which has nothing to do ofc with the fact that the op is a pretty weak ass flamer.

You outlevel most of our team by 6 levels or more and we will probably destroy you.

It should be a close game, you guys are an absolutely solid team. Trash talk is just that...talk. I don't think it coincidence that the boards picked up significantly after Dunkirk's owner threw down the gauntlet, whether it offended some or not.

We've noticed a few things, which we of course hope will pay off, but you know how fickle this game can be. You're never truly guaranteed to get the performance or results you expect, Bort got it right in that respect. There's a couple of key matchups we need to win, and unexpectedly having agents banned never helps your chances, but all in all, I don't expect a low scoring game. If it is, us Dirtheads may have some problems.

And I don't want to talk about the Sidhe, they give me a headache.

Actually, our owner is unavailable this weekend with personal business, so I don't even know that he's seen it.

Though I think it's been more than established that in-season scrims are of little value in determining how teams match up. Least that's what I've been told about a million times.

We had some massive turnovers that cost us the game, but I still have the utmost of confidence in us come playing time. I also think you guys have a hell of a squad over there, best of luck to you the rest of the season.
