Alright, here's my attempt to hopefully get people talking.
I put together a rating system that I believe provides a fairly accurate ranking.

I've based it off a balance between two scores; "On the Field" and "On Paper"

While people enjoy knocking the use of levels and overall ratings to evaluate a team, I think it would be foolish to not give them an appropriate amount of weight.
Basically my ratings are a 50/50 balance of performance and potential.

I may tweak the equations if things start to get out of whack later in the season.
But since I took the number of games played into account, I feel these values will hold up as the schedules even out.

Please rip on my system if you feel slighted.
Nobody's talking about anything else, so I'm hoping this might start something.

I see what you did there, boss. We're ranked 10. They'll never see it coming when a team with average level of 33 kicks all their asses.... Or at least their shins.

Ahh, those first 3 games really inflated Akihabara's worth it seems. I expect us to finish no better than 8th to 10th this year, so being marked as #1 is kinda mind boggling.

Thanks for doing this though, I'm sure as the season goes on it will get straightened out.

I've got the spreadsheet at work now so I'll be able to update it after today's game and see how many teams move.

I'm hoping we can jump up a bit since we're playing the team I have ranked just ahead of us.

Right now, the Akihabara Anime All-Stars score is about as high as it could possibly get.

I changed the power numbers to reflect a scale of 1-100 instead of 1-60.

I just think this is easier to read as 100 would be the benchmark perfect score.
