Not much movement this week in the power rankings. I think the inertia of the entire season is too much for a recent good performance to overcome with my current rankings.

So that means getting to the playoffs is key, so that you can prove to everyone that you have what it takes....

So take these for what they're worth, and I'll have a new formula soon which will reflect the recent big games that people have played.

Thanks,
StickMan

The Gazpacho is going to throw a fit when he sees that his defense dropped to #2 overall...

The slack asses gave up 17 points and 270 yards. They deserve to be last fucking place. No day off this week I want the D in the weight room NOW.

Couldn't you just weight the last few games more? You already have strength of season built into the formula, so it shouldn't affect that by much...

It hurts when I see our offensive rank. At least we can still manage to get the alligator to eat our number on the scoreboard 3<5

That's what I'm working on.

The thing that makes that trickier is that there is not a good way to pull out the stats from the last game unless I manually input each of the game id's.

I have a way to do it by subtracting out the stats from last week to get what happened this week, but it's forcing me to rearrange some things to reorganize my sheet, and is mostly just taking more time than I have to spend on it right now.

I'll have it fixed for next season for sure, but I'm still hoping to get it fixed for the last couple of games (regular season) this season.

Thanks,
StickMan

Stickman, I don't know if you have been asked this before or not. But I'm curious to see your spread sheet. I just want to take a look at the formulas you used.

Ummm, OK . . .

I think I will stick to the spread sheet.

Stickman, don't you just wish Bort would allow some kind of ODBC access to the stats, both detail and summery? It would make things a lot easier, but I'm sure he has his hands busy with other programming now.

Man, we give up double digits 3 weeks in a row and don't drop, but we give up 3 and drop to 6th. I don't get it. Oh well, at least we're still pretty high. We dropped 2 spots with a W too. :\

No doubt.

But until then, I'm just making do with Excel, cause that's what I know.

And uh, No. I will not be showing my penis to anyone associated with this game.....thanks for asking though....lol

Thanks,
StickMan

You had it for what? 3 weeks all year, during our toughest stretch of games?

That doesn't mean I wanted to give it up when I got it.
