That is one of the greatest goal line stands I have ever seen. Magic.

That was pretty awesome!!! However, they are idiots for not running it inside. You will always get the yardage you need if you run it inside 3 times in a row in that short of a distance.

I beg to differ, merenoise. I think this is the greatest goalline stand of all-time at a pivotal point early in our game vs. the Vikings:
10:12 4th & 0.5 OPP 5.5 Tom Mason rush to the right (1 yd gain) [tackle: George "Indiana" Howards] Replay
9:41 1st & G OPP 4.5 Elmer Oliphant rush to the right (no gain) [tackle: George "Indiana" Howards] Replay
9:15 2nd & G OPP 4.5 Speeeedy Gonzalez rush to the right (4 yd gain) [tackle: Blaize Speed] Replay
East Cairo Argonauts 8:40
8:40 3rd & G OPP 0.5 Elmer Oliphant rush[forced fumble: Rev. Martin King], fumbled , recovered by Zeus Warpath (0 yd return) [tackle: Mister Blob] Replay
8:36 1st & 10 OWN 0 Steamin Willie Beamin rush up the middle (4 yd gain) [tackle: Ricky Jean Francois] Replay
8:02 2nd & 6 OWN 4 (Lt.) Adonis Kotsiopoulis pass to Justin "Quick" Fury up the right side, caught, PAT made by Lord Helmet [TD] (96 yd gain) Replay

Yeah, unless you try it against us, in which case we'll take the ball from you and then score on a 96-yard TD two plays later. See above thread.

Nice example. Very impressive. But I would still take my chances that I am not going to fumble in that situation and that I can get 0.5 yards.
