Hmm... Its hard to argue with Dusty Turner's 23 TDs. But there's still four games to be played, so I guess we'll have to see how it shakes out.

That's why I made this "MVP Watch" instead of a straight MVP thread. I wanted to make something like my mid-year AP team, so that we can track process before the end of the season.

I gotta put one more name on the list. Hanson Stone for the Royals.

26 rec. 414.5 yards 8 tds
27 kick returns 938 yards 1 td
79 punt returns 1752 yards 6 tds

total of 3104 yards and 15 tds.

Can we get the RB's average yards per carry added. I don't know what they are, but that's an important stat to me.

Well I guess if I had looked number of carries is already shown there, just not where I expected it to be. lol

You and I know both that kick returners, no matter how good they are, will never be considered MVPs. Reference Dante Hall and Devin Hester.

Yeah, I'm probably going to change it from carries to yards per carry. I should've thought about it prior to posting.

-----------

Scott Adams had another pitiful game, 155 yards 1 TD 2 INTs, so he's moving down the chart a little. The case for DeMarkus Jackson only gets stronger, as he gains over 100 yards and scores a TD.

More thoughts to come later.

Just wondering if the league leader in Rushing and 2nd in touchdowns for a RB can get some love?

"11 fumbles"

Turnovers turn me off of players, but I've been thinking about adding you to the list, especially after last game. The "watch" is still on your player, don't worry.

Oh, you mean the league leader in fumbles, Sgt Hard Head?

I'm glad to see DeMarkus is getting some notice. His 6 yards per carry is far and away the best among the league's top running backs, and 16 TD's is second only to Dusty.

Yeah, quite a few fumbles, working on that, but then you can look at Lost fumbles and see 3. So actually only had 3 turnovers. but i guess when you get so many carries, your gonna drop the ball on occasion.

Also Sgt. loses some TDs to the greatest back up running back to ever live so you have to take that into account as well.

Not really

Remember when Bettis was getting <1 yard TDs and Parker lacked plenty of TDs because of it? Yeah, didn't get taken into account

But do we really want to fall into the same traps that other leagues fall into. Or do we, like true americans, want to buck the trend and turn the system on its head. Ill leave that to you.

Believe me, once Sgt gets the fumbles to look stupid (great games to end the season), he'll be top 5 for MVP.
