This is a quick run down of who plays who and how I think it will shake out.
I'm not running any scripts or anything this is just off the cuff.
So with that said lets get this started.
1. Halifax Halibut vs Ontario Explorers: This is the home opener for the Halibut but I'm affraid it will not be a free kelp day for the fans as I see the Exploreres coming away with the win. Score 73/13
2. Kebec Poutine at Pima Miners: The Poutine and Miners should start off close but I see the Poutine O and D being a little too much for the Miners.
Score 40/27
3. Lancaster Hustlas at St. John's Pistons: First up for the Hustlas are the Pistons. This is a pretty even matchup and a close one to call. Looking over their roster a little I give the edge to the Hustlas. They seem to have higher level players in a few key spots and I think it will be enough to win the game.
Score 28/23
4. Kingston Killer Rabbits vs Ontario Mustangs: Another even game. I like the Killer Rabbits in this one. The Rabbits Oline vs the Mustangs Dline is what pushed me over to their side. Score 42/35
5. The Grand errr I mean Glassjaw Guerrillas vs. Charlestown Chiefs: This one will be closer than the bars indicate. Charlestown has the ability to beat teams higher leveled than them. I still think the Guerrillas have too much fire power and should pull of the win.
Score 47/36
6. Moose Jaw Mac Attack at Lincoln Lucky: Looks like the Lucky have checked out.
I dont think this will be any different then the preseason game.
Mac Attack comes away with the win.
Score 98/10
7. Thunder Bay Lycans vs Winnipeg Wolverines: The Lycans are always a tough group.
They should come away with the win with some ease.
Score 56/10
8. Bear Beach Beavers at Thunder Bay Ice Cats: Thunder Bay has some nice pieces but the Beavers will be too much for them to keep up with.
If the backups for the Ice Cats have to play too much it could get ugly.
Score 56/21
9. Windsor Flyers at Alpharetta Adventurers: Speaking of ugly the Adventurers should phone this one in. Flyers in a landslide.
Score 98/10
10. Woodbridge Wiseguys vs Cannes CobraS: Cannes will start the season strong and come away with the W in this one.
The Dline should have a easy day against the lower level Oline of the wiseguys.
Score 48/13
11. Marley’s Pot Puffing Indigents vs. Sheho Shinigami: Vortox still steaming from not getting demoted to BBB has a tough first game vs the Shinigami.
This one doesnt look to good for the PPI.
Score 38/19
12. Columbia Mizzouligans at Blackrock Reapers: The Mizzouligans cant seem to score points but have a hard time stopping other teams and thats a bad combo.
Plus I know from my BBB days that the Reapers are a good team.
Reapers come away with the win.
Score 40/14
13. Thunder Bay Aggies vs West Texas Mad Cows: I'm not a big fan of anything A&M.
The Mad Cows wont be either and should beat the Aggies.
Score 38/6
14. Québec Remparts vs WMD Ballers: Not much of a test here for the Remparts.
Score 63/13
15. Toronto Punishers at (S)askatoon (T)ouch(D)owners: This should be the best game of the day IMO.
Both teams can score points and I think this will be a shoot out.
I do think in the end the Punishers will edge out STD.

16. Salem Wubba at Kangiqsualujjuaq Komatik: I think this one has a little more heat to it given the drama during the preseason.
Komatik are a tough out and even though I think the Wubba have a shot to pull out the upset I'll say the Komatik takes the game.
