Warrior General Games

1.Dundee Destroyers Well can you say they went out got the best players available and with a roster level average of 48 they should be considered a tough team to beat even by any Zeta team.

2. Reichenberg Red Knights If these guys can pull off the upset of DunDee so their OC and DC need to be on the same page then they will be in the championship game against a Zeta opponent that will wish they were somewhere else.

3.Dublin Pirates Another team with high level players and if their game planning and OC and DC get on the same page they could surprise the two big dogs above.

4.Copenhagen Drakkar If they get their game planning right and their OC and DC do their job right this team is going to surprise some of the upstarts that just come into this league and knock them down a peg or two.

5. Lyon Lightning Okay the reason these guys are in the 5th spot is they fell apart last season, but if they can hold it together and their OC and DC dont choke under pressure they could surpass Copenhagen for the 4th spot.

6. Ramstein Red Devils These guys are a wild card they could finish as high as third but they have to prove to everyone in the league they belong here. They wont beat the big dogs, but they will give them a run for their money. They could surpass Lyon and Copenhagen for that final home game spot.

The last two playoff spots is going to be slobberknocker who ever can hit the hardest and still stand after being punched around by those six team above will earn the last two playoff spots. This could be very interesting for the new teams that just come up and want to prove they belong in this league. Who is going to win out over the established teams here will the new pups get whipped by the old dogs or will the young pups wear out the old dogs?

Zeta has tough teams also, but nothing compared to our top 3 teams I dont think Zeta will this year either in the championship unless they pull off a miracle especially with the firepower the top 2 teams in our division have. This again will be a Alpha win in the championship game. with at least 3 teams from Alpha that should get promoted.

The Mutiny is looking forward to this season we love being the underdogs

Plus you kind of missed out not putting the Red Devils higher in that list

The Mutiny is in the same boat as the Matadors it will come down to game preparation and who wants it more.

I noticed but their is catch 22 here and I still trying to find out if its true or not. Shawn your players are too high ranked to be in this league one of the mods was discussing that and you may get penalized for that not sure yet still reading on what they are planning to do with teams that were not grandfathered in. Bort has me so confused I dont know which way I am turning.

Lv 1-100, 26-44 Suggested for WE A#5. We don't have anyone over 100, so we should be ok. o_O

I have heard a number of rumors too, but just that.

The only penalty Bort has detailed to date is the VXP penalty, and I believe there is a fame hit too (meaningless). Since those players at that level are undoubtedly approaching retirement age anyway, who the hell cares? That is what I meant earlier, there really is no disincentive whatsoever to packing a team in a thirties/forties league with fifty-somethings, and one of those teams will invariably appear in every league in order to dominate it.

Sometimes it will be a Baton Rouge Tigers (last year's 60-rating megalith) who home-grows to those levels - basically a manchild that underachieves until it is too strong to be contained (Copenhagen aspires to that!!!). Sometimes it will be a built-for-trophy newcomer like Ramstein.

If you are not that guy, sure it seems lousy, but no rules are being broken, and people are acting out of rational self-interest. It is just a shifting of pure football stuff towards the holistic view of football: recruiting, networking (since it is invariably the owner's or his friend's players; I have some too though I have no fifty-something friends!), good fortune when friend's teams disband, and some "real" football stuff too when the juggernauts actually make contact with each other and there is no roster to hide behind.

But we play the game anyway, why is that? For the games that we can win, and that occasional upset that we "couldn't win".

for me, one of the most fun parts of the game is the off-season recruiting. our core is still intact from last year, but we did upgrade a few spots

I brought in some of my players too. I would hesitate to call them upgrades - it looked more like Act III when the clowns get sent in. But hey, our fans will pay for a good tragedy too.

im just glad someone threw up some rankings

guess the Red Devils will have to spend some extra time on the practice field....we must not be ready yet...
