Ok boys and girls we are back for another season. Whether that is a good thing or not remains to be seen but as long as you guys vote I'll continue to write one up every week.
I'll keep doing it until the interest starts to drop off around week 12 or so when all of the teams start gunning for the playoff run, then maybe I'll do something different to fill the void.
For our new teams here is how it works....copied from last years preseason post because I am getting lazy in my old age
The way the poll is run is very simple. After the 4th preseason game is completed, I will post on here that the polls are now open for votes. Every team in APL can select 1 person to represent them and submit a list consisting of their choice for the Top 10 Teams in APL in order from 1 though 10. It could be anyone on the team, the owner, a GM, or a player, as long as they are a part of that team. Only 1 list per team will be accepted after each game. Each person will send their list to me directly in a PM. I ask that you put your team and week in the heading to make it easier for me. No one does this but I ask anyway hahaha.
The poll will remain open for 24 hours after each game, at that time I will close the voting and add up the scores. Every team receiving a 1st place vote will get 20 points, every 2nd place vote will get a team 18 points...and so on. When I am done counting the votes I will post the results on here with some fun jabber added in. At that point you are all free to debate and argue to your hearts content.
I never place a vote myself, and I never reveal who voted for whom. Feel free to vote for whatever teams you wish, including your own team, in whatever order you want. There are no right or wrong choices. Just don't be a douchebag and vote for your team 10 times in 1 poll. I'll toss those polls out and publicly flog you.
I'm looking forward to another great year in APL and I hope all of you take advantage of this chance to have your voices heard.
