ateam1026...hope you don't mind that I took your format for the Garuda post (and added "Avg Starter Lvls") for the Naga outlook. Figured it was time that someone do it for Naga as well.

First # is lowest Lv Starter, 2nd # is Highest Lv Starter, 3rd # is Avg Lv of all starters for each team. Number in ( ) is the team's overall matchup rating.

1. Angkor Arctic Wolves 42-52-45.5 (60)

2. Phuket Vandals 38-50-45.5 (57)
3. Utopian Apocalypse 43-49-45.3 (57)
4. XomDon Xplosion 38-52-45.2 (57)
5. Golden Hill Bones 40-50-45.1 (57)
6. Bacolod Rangers 39-51-45.0 (57)
7. Canisteo Stodieans 37-51-42.7 (57)
8. Manila Gorillas 33-48-40.9 (57)

9. Manila Wafers 32-44-38.5 (54)
10. Padang Poontang 38-48-38.3 (54)
11. Singapore Fighting Rice 31-43-37.8 (54)
12. Myanmar Cyclones 28-48-36.5 (54)
13. Maui TetraHConnoisseurs 31-49-36.9 (51)

14. Palembang Panthers 4-27-7.9 (24)
15. Rochelle Hubs 1-5-2.0 (18)
16. Ho Chi Minh Happy Endings 1-4-2.6 (12)

Tight race at the top. The average starter levels for the top 6 are nearly identical. Give the early nod to The Wolves, but don't be surprised if any one of the top 8 take that top spot.

Skinzfan...the rankings are all yours for the regular season. I remember your rankings from SEA A5 and am looking forward to your write-ups once again.

after last season, I will definitely take that. If AAW has there DC problems worked out and if the Rangers play like they did at the of last season, they have to be the odds on favorites.

I don't doubt that you guys will be a force to be reckoned with but don't underestimate my boy proaxis, he knows his shit

On the bolded portion...we shall see, you've got a lot of very solid teams to go through.

Dont worry about the Poontang this season

We could hold our own against AAW and the other two teams that got promoted back in season 7. I wonder how close we are to AAW now. We've had a lot of turnover at CB, SS, WR and OL, but aside from that, our team has stayed mostly the same the last couple of seasons. I think Singapore Fighting Rice will find a way to make it into the playoffs this season, and if not, we'll at least play the top few teams better than the teams that beat us out for the final playoff spot.

You've got a good team gabe but we've drastically improved over what we were even just two seasons ago, I don't think we'll necessarily blow you out but I wouldn't count on it being a particularly close game. Stick around AA for a season or two and I bet you guys will probably shake things up, now is not your time unfortunately

I said we could hold our own, not can. Could is past tense, can is present tense. I was talking about the past, and here's the past I was talking about:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=328866

34-10 loss, but 14 of your points were on interceptions returned for touchdowns
You only had a 3 point lead with 10 minutes left in the game, and you'd already returned one interception for a touchdown.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=368579

36-13 loss
9.1 yards per carry was high, but was skewed by 91 and 50 yard TD runs (both where our SS missed a tackle)

Thats what we did against your team two seasons ago. We held our own back then. We weren't close to beating you, but we held our own. The Manila Gorillas lost to you by 18 and 31, we lost to you by 24 and 23. You beat Baccolod by 21. I wouldn't consider our 21 and 23 point losses to be blowouts, just like I wouldn't say you blew out Manila or Baccolod. In the NFL, thats a blowout, but in GLB, I don't think it is a blowout. And since we didn't get blown out, that means we held our own. I didn't say we almost beat you, or that we were just as good, I said that we held our own.

I didn't even claim that our performances back in season 7 meant that we'd not get blown out this season. I said "I wonder how close we are now". And it's true - I do wonder if we'll hold our own, or if we'll get blown out. I don't think we'll almost win (like we arguably did in the regular season during season 7), but I do think we might be able to keep the score in the range of normal NFL scores, and not the 70-3 or worse type games that you see a lot of in the A leagues.

I'm real glad that now isn't our time - if "our time" represent being a contender for the championship. If "our time" represents just making the playoffs, then I disagree. I even said that I think we can sneak into the playoffs, but that I'm not sure that we'll make it.

I know we're not the cream of the crop here, and not even close to it. I just want to be a good opponent, and not one of the patsies that teams put up unrealistic stats against. And I do think we can achieve that.

Oh, and we've signed just one free agent in the last 48 hours, but he's a lvl 35 SS who moves our only lvl 31 starter to the bench, and brings us up to a 57 ranking

It's telling when Drama Prarie Dog, #1 in receiving yards in the league last year is now the #5 receiver for the Wolves. AAW is continually pushing for a top level roster and even some of our best players from last year are going to be just role players on this years roster.
