Happenings
This is the beginning of a seemingly endless offseason. There is a lot going on in the GLB universe that has a direct impact on Western Europe BBB#8.
The biggest has to be the devine creators shuffling of the leagues to promote competitiveness. The result is the league getting a level cap that tops out at level 24. It should make for a fun filled season. This has also created an entirely new conference and everyone should have fun getting to know one another.
Some additional things coming this season is the Defensive play creator. This has the potential to be revolutionary in the GLB realm. You will be able to make individual assignments, spy on the QB, shift your lines, control how your players line up on the line of scrimmage, ie CBs playing tight on the wr or giving a cushion. There are options to have certain personel groupings depending on situations like nickle, GL etc. The teams that figure this beast out the earliest should have a leg up on getting that elusive home field advantage.
Run blocking has been tweaked, the QB/ passing game is supposed to funtion better. The real question is going to be how this is going to play out in the real world. There are rumblings that the scales were tilted too far in slowing down the run game. I am confident Bort will get it worked out by the end of preseason. I am really looking forward to seeing how the QBs and recievers interact now.
There are lots of unknowns coming in the new season. Especially with the sim. I am guessing on that may really give complacent GMs fits are the fact that LBs are supossed to actually commit to their assignments now. that means that they will act a ton differently than they have been in the past. Previously, the LBs would kinda float backwards for a second before their vision sent them in the direction they needed to go. I feel if you screw up your LBs, there will be lots of room for the offense to operate.

Must be a cool team as they are owned and run by Cowboys fans. The roster is full of at level players. Looks to be pretty solid. Depth is an issue at OL, WR and CB for sure, Definite contender for top two seeds and a lock for a home game in the first round.

Owned and operated by folks i am not familiar with, but i am sure they are good guys. Team is pretty much on level, but thin depth wise. Should be a playoff team. With proper depth their chances to be a force are increased.
Top threat, FB Gaouu Rikiya Interesting to see how they use this guy. He is one of the highest leveld players in the league.
3 Bedrock Stone Giants 7-9-0 L1

Has a ton of GMs, not sure who does what over there, but its interesting. Teh team is weird as hell. They have quite a few players above the league cap. they also have some very low leveled guys that I think may hinder their chances to go far. Should be a possible playoff team and I guess they can win I just really hate the depth and depth quality. My outlook for these folks as their roster lies right now is they will be enigmatic, destroying the bad teams, and falling apart late against the better teams while pulling off one or two close ones vs the top contenders.
Impact player Jorde Nelson WR, should be a top threat in the league due to level difference and how I think season9 sim will unfold.
4 Zabrze Warriors 5-11-0 W1

This team has some great talent at key positions They have one of the higher leveld QB/WR combos in the league, and a few higher than cap players. These guys will make big impact in spurts for the team, the big issue is the OL. those guys are anemic. I see a 6-8 seed in there grasp if the chips fall in their favor.
Impact players, DTJohnny Walker-Blue (Lv. 30) and WR Artek Jasieniecki (Lv. 27) if the line lets the QB stay upright, could be a big producer.
5 Kickback Cavaliers 4-12-0 L1

A very good lookig, deep and up to level team. If their builds are up to snuffs this could be a leader of the conference. Honestly, they have too much talent at some spots like QB, Punter and kicker. Maybe some kinda development team. ?The defense looks very anemic at this point.

Very solid team will enjoy their season in this conference. Well rounded and near cap team. very deep. I think this is going to be one of the top three teams easily when the dust settles. With some attention to detail this team could be GM'd to the championship without question.
Impact player HBGolden Westbrook if Bort doesnt nerf HB into uselessnes, he should be among the league leaders.
7 Matterhorn Marmots 4-12-0 L2

Only GM I recognize is DRKsandman. this team has some higher leveled players on offense, but the defense is way under level and should be a pushover.
8 Baltimore Knights 4-12-0 L8

Has a long way to go. While there are some very good players on the team, to this point they aer riddled with CPUs If they dont get some more human players it is going to be a very frustrating season. If they can get some more humans in todays market, they may be a team to keep an eye on.

well organized group. the owner handles all the chores, so it seems like its a one man tight shipl. the team is a pretty well underleved squad. IF they can squeek into the playoffs, they could be a threat as a round one upset.

Worms have the makings of a playoff team. At first glance it appears to be a well run and structured team. if the builds are solid, look out for them as contenders for the fourth seed.
Impact Player HB Tyron Bigumms (Lv. 22) I like the way they use this guy as a rusher and a reciever. Fits in well with the way I envision the sim playing out.

The beginings of a good squad are in place. the offense is set up to make some noise, but the defennse is going to give you ulcers. Not going to be a force this season, but you better come prepared to play some defense on these guys. if you sleep on them you may wind up wondering what happened.

Definite playoff roster, and top four contender. I think they just might be the third or fourth team in the conference. nice depth, a definite team to keep your eyes on. If they can get the ball to those WRs, a high scoring team.

I love these guys. I look at them as equal to or better than Cybertron, and when the two teams meet, it will be a battle. I hope it is late in teh season so we can have a lot on the line. Very well balanced, with good builds these guys will kick ass and take names most weeks. they have talented to level players throughout that are build very well. If you beat these guys, you have done something.

GM Oatmalize has my respect from our days to gether in the USA CCC/A#1/AA#1 this team is a fringe playoff squad . The build levels are all over the place,. butthey have some nice players and with the GM on board, they will be well run. They may just have a few too many low teen players on the squad to make a huge impact.
Impact player Texas Gunslinger QB, one of the better QBs it seems in the conference. His supporting cast may hold him pack.

A smidgeon under leveled, but if they can manage to get in the show, they will be hitting their stride and will be a force to be reconed with. Very deep team.
