Well! I see there will be no "easy schedule" or "weak conference" posts this season. I don't reckon y'all have automatically reserved us a playoof spot! Looks like folks will be fighting it out for those. We have made some new additions in an effort to quickly become competitive. But the same longterm, loyal, hardcore Rumblefish are still intact. Coming hard at ya!
Good to see the guys promoted before us here. Good to meet the rest of ya. Can't wait for first scrimmages!

we had some monster teams run through Canada A the past two seasons and twice we lost the 2nd round games. trust me, I wish we got promoted last season, we tried but too many powers in the East.

Hmmm, power houses in the East? Sounds familiar

Too damn familiar. First VIT, then Nova, now the Hounds beating their chests before we've even had the first scrimmages. Sigh...
Starting to feel like ol' Rodney Dangerfield. "Just can't get no respect!" lol

You're in the same boat as Hamilton this season. We're going to have to earn our respect, it won't be given, and because of the teams that are... or at least appear to be... superior to us, it won't be easy. Last season Dixie had 0 competition, and apart from four teams Hamilton was pretty unopposed... This season, respect will not be as easy to earn. Good teams like Hamilton and Dixie now have real teams to play, and good may not be good enough. And the teams "beating their chest"... they are the top teams, they have the right to do so until someone takes a stand and stops them on the field.

The Meese won't do much chest beating, but we will be competitive on the field. It will be a nice change this year to have some good competition to play all year. Last year there were only 2 or 3 games that were a challenge and 2 of those were against teams that got promoted with us from BBB#1. So Dixie and all the rest of the teams in this league, we look forward to earning your respect.

Right you are, Grim.
Da Mooses and Hounds got every right to rattle their sabres, and defend their home turf against the "Newbie" invasion. It's on us to earn respect, not on them to give it.
I like the way this is setting up. I'd rather go thru 16 "slobberknocker" contests and miss the playoffs, rather than the BORING way we went thru the West unopposed last season. The disparity between teams was ridiculous. Not the case here.

No beating chests here with the Hounds, we are just frustrated that we cant take that last step to win the title. We welcome the new talent into the league - looks like the forums will stay active.
