Warrior General Games

Here is the deal folks, GLB Radio is moving to have reports on games of the week from each sub league.

So its time for USA A to show the best game from the next five days.

What I need is link to the game, name of the owner/gm who runs the team or the home and away team.

If your game is picked you will be asked to do a call into the show for a quick 3-6min talk about the game with the other owner.

I am looking for non blowout games. But you also don't need to be fighting for first. A team battling to avoid Relegation is just as good a story.

Well, this game actually happened back on saturday, but it was a game that lived up to the billing.
The game was between the Windsor Warriors and the Oklahoma City Thunderstorm in the USA A#2 league.

16-13

This was a game between two 10-0 teams, that had been looked at, talked about, and circled on calendars since week 2.

Both teams entered the game as two of the league's best in terms of offense, defense and special teams. No team had any obvious weaknesses.

FG's were traded, one TD was scored by each team. The biggest difference maker is that Windsor was "johhny-on-the-spot" and recovered an OKC fumble on a punt return, while recovering their own fumbled PR. This was the only turnover in the game, and allowed the Warriors to pull out the victory even though they were outgained 338.5 to 242.5 in total yardage.

The rematch between the two teams is widely (at least in our minds) anticipated as one of the best games we'll see in the playoffs of A#2.

Falcons had .5 more total yards then PAIN in this close game and both teams had a receiver at the end of a large receiving touchdown. you didn't know if Pain would be able to tie it up or if it would end at that score til the game ended

Too bad I didnt see this before. Playoff game between the Grave Diggers and Horde in A6 was a good one. Undefeated Horde ended up winning by a touchdown while the Grave Diggers took the final drive to the 5.5 yard line where time expired on the fourth down play. Very tight matchup between two very good teams.
