Any WR's wanna step up to the plate and wager an avatar? Try to put up 100yrds on THE Mecca Carter. I dare ya. Lets make this season interesting.

doubt we will win but we will make it more interesting than last season. I can promise you that.

What are the specific terms? The WR just has to get 100 yards against your team or when he is lined up against your CB? The odds that you cover the same guy all game long is pretty slim to none.

You're right. Back in the day i would line up against someone and be on him most of the game. Most of last season i was covering a bunch of different guys. Hrmmm.....you have an idea?

I'm just asking so that you don't have a loophole or easy excuse when The General goes off and you were only on him for 90 of his yards and two of his TDs. You'd come back to the forums and mouth off about how you didn't give up 100 yards, blah, blah and how you won the avatar bet.

I agree. I don't want that to happen either. I'm not looking for loopholes or excuses. I want a fair match up if there were a way to do it. It's ok if i get beat. I got beat a ton last season. It's all in fun. That why i asked you if you had any good ideas.

Guess we can leave the "Who Won" up to democratic vote after the games...

mecca gets me most of ma long distant tds each season. Ozmosis appreciates that.

A CB/WR matchup would be pretty difficult to nail to actual stats. You'd almost have to have non-biased voters go play-by-play through the entire game or something equally painstaking.

screw that, just watch the play-by-play and see who gets burned/shut down when they're matched up.

Watch the PbP, see how many times your CB was targeted with a certain WR on him, figure out completion percentage then yards averaged.
