Howdy!

I'm the (usually invisible) owner of the Kilkenny Sidhe.

We started a slow-build replacement of the entire squad two seasons ago, and have been relegated down into BBB from AA as we had our butts handed to us.

We're done with being kicked around.

I am encouraging my players, agents, and staff to gird their loins so that we can remind Western Europe why the Celts lived in such fear of the Sidhe.

Let's try to have some fun this season. That's the whole point of playing this game, right?

Good thing the the Angry Scotsmen have no fear. Hygiene issues we have ... but no fear.

The Scots were still living in fear of the Sidhe long after most of the Celts had converted to Christianity. <wink>

The question is ... are the sidhe pussies, faries, or both.

Well, traditionally, neither.

Christian teachings reduced the legends of the Sidhe to the remnants we know as fey, or fairy, today. The leprechaun, for instance, is based on the legends of a single Sidhe warrior who was capable of slaying hundreds of men a day as he towered over them on the battlefield.

This is how the Catholic Church absorbs other cultures, be belittling, demeaning, and forgetting what the culture had been before they showed up.

The Scots remembered for longer than most.

We're usually too drunk to remember back that far so all we recall is little fairy kitty kats.

Let me tell you friend, the Celts are sure as hell not afraid of no stinking sidhe. Hence our team name and what it stands for. Down with your afflicting ways, and bring the pain! We will never bow down, never surrender, never quit, and sure as hell never ever give up.

Losing a game has nothing to do with being fearless. How about this, you guys take your LVL 37 average team, and actually get into a division that is not a LVL 28 cap. Then maybe other teams can compete. Wow, what a concept!

How you come up with level 37 is beyond me.

Nice that you had to restart this topic about 1 month later since the last post.

I think that was an exaggeration in the works. I do see his point but hey, you'll get promoted anyway this season, amiright?

Now just out of curiosity ... and I am by no means trying to bash you guys ... how did yo end up in this league anyway?

It's a level 28 capped league.

So if your MEDIAN level for players on your team was 28 or below you could be shuffled into a level 28 capped league.

At the START of the season, we had maybe 1-2 players over 28 - remember that we have leveled up probably 2 levels and 3 boosts put you at level 33 now.

We have 2 level 34's, and 1 is a punter.

Everyone else is level 33 or less

And only 12 are level 30 or higher

Most are in their 20's still.

So I would say we are in the right league based on that.

Sounds good to me. I was under the impression it was a hard cap at 28 and didn't go by the median.
