Warrior General Games

I'll not be renewing the Bugeaters. This is a decision that I've greatly wrestled with. I've been struggling to keep up with owning a team since S6, and have really put a lot of things in real life on the back burner so to speak.

With the current state of the game and, more importantly, the direction in which I see the game heading, I am no longer interested enough in GLB to put real life things on the back burner. I'm not quitting GLB and will still help some teams and have some players, but I'm done with ownership and will not longer be purchasing flex points.

I've greatly enjoyed my time as an owner in APL. And have really enjoyed some of the interactions I've had with several of the owners here. Wyliecowboy, Shalubis, Dlee, Hokie, and Vegas, have been some owners I've really enjoyed interacting with. There are a lot of other APL agents that have added a lot as well.

I wish you all the best and will really miss being an owner in what I've always considered one of the best leagues in all of APL.

Sorry to see you go bro. It's been a blast with you guys since the beginning, even when we didn't see eye to eye. We never did get to play a game, my fault on that one . Good luck however it turns out for you and all the Bugeaters

Yeah, the GLB landscape will look totally different in S9 with all the teams that are folding and the realignment.

Yep it has been a sad week in Bugeater land. I have been the DC / co owner of the Bugeaters since our creation. This season had our highest highs and the lowest lows. We were on the verge of cracking the top 25 in GLB and the strong I slam brought that high crashing back to earth.

Good luck to all the APL I will miss this place for sure!!!

Majech, a true class act, and I just read this forum now, and wonder why I keep giving all I have......You are a great owner, notice I say are and not were, because you fought the tough fight. You stuck by the right way in playing GLB, and I am proud of you....I will not come on here begging for any of your players, you know where I stand on that....I just want to wish you a fun future with GLB.

Blame the Jacks for that one eh maj? But honestly its sad to see you guys fold. That's not what I wanted to hear by any means. The Bugs have been fun opponents and man did we have some good times!

This past season was the most competitive the Lion conference has ever seen, and it seems it was kind of wasted on a poor sim version.

Best of luck in whatever you pursue maj, I'm sure we'll see each other around in the GLB world!

No BBE? Damn. But I've been there, it sucks...but then you enter the off season realizing you don't have to recruit anymore...
