When BDC makes reference to the SLAM I, talks about it in anyway, and pokes fun at it. It is in no way in relation to our playoff game. Not one bit. I know its popular for teams to make excuses and cry about why they lost, but here at BDC, we take our lumps pretty well.

Thought it was explained clearly before but obviously not.

We are just poking fun at the game, and the joke of a season this turned out to be in a lot of peoples minds.

You guys royally kicked out behinds, and unlike most games in this league, ours wasnt two teams running the same play over and over till someone was forced to pass.

Season eight will live in infamy.

I don't understand what they could possibly be upset about, they won the game and I have not seen anything but classy posts from you guys about it, as usual.

Season eight is a pile of shit, nothing wrong with your video making fun of it.

Everyone is on edge right now, even those teams with no reason to be on edge. Probably better to just keep a low profile. I think I'll return to doing that.

No ones saying "if you do it, you're a criminal". Hell SLAM I away! But it's still lame, and a good majority of us will be happy once its under control.

(Including those of us who have felt compelled to use it under the "damned if you do, and damned if you don't" theory.)

Exactly. The Nites struggled all season to put together different offenses and got bit by the Slam a few times because of it. Because of that we have been forced to conform or lose. We may or may not win today. Regardless of who wins OPL (or any other league) this season, I think there will be an asterisk next to any Season 8 trophy in most peoples' minds.

Look you do what the sim allows you to do. There is no asterik next to anything. Would we have liked to have passed more, sure we would have, but the fact of the matter is that this is what Bort has given us. We used the Slam the last 5 weeks or so and we don't fault any team that uses it against us either. Next week in the championship we expect Banzai and WSI to slam the shit out of it and whoever wins deserves it.

Be honest with your inner dot, Bort fucked this entire season up from Season 8 day -4 and on. Every single complaint should be on him not on any team that used the slam. I don't blame any team for using it. I laugh at all the whiny ass "exploiter" or "asterisk" posters as they usually have one thing in common, the lost to someone using the slam. Nobody like it, its the most boring game imaginable... and this game has been getting more and more boring before this season. People that are bitching should be PMing the hell out of Admin and Bort. Hopefully season 9 will be back to the season 5-6 sim. If not this site will be a wasteland that could have been so much better.
