Padang had the Hellfighters number yet again. An unstoppable rushing attack and solid D effort shut down the high flying Hellfighters air attack.

Vanuatu out muscled Kamikaze for their conference championship taking honors in the rematch that the Kamikaze won previously.

League Championship Predictions:
The scrappy Padang Orangutans who have been battle hardened against the tough best of the best in the toughest conference over a superior leveled, dominant team in Vanuatu who has been on cruise control most of the season, but brought their A(or should I say AAA) game to blow out play-off opponents. I like Padang in this game, 50/50.

Been a fun season, thanks to all the teams that made an effort, thanks to all the people who have made the season even more entertaining by contributing in the forums and livening up the community (yes, this includes the new improved Empy), best of luck in the league championship for Vanuatu and Padang, and best of luck in season 9 for everyone else!

Very good game Headhunters, you guys definitely deserve to be in this next game!! One thing I we will take with us is knowing that we are the only team to keep you under 30 points this season, and we did that twice.

Now lets see you cage up them Monkeys and take home the gold for our conference!!

As much as I want to win this thing and wish Padang good luck, it hadn't hit me until this morning that we'll be moving up to AAA and that saddens me. I really have enjoyed my seasons in AA and in a way I wish we weren't leaving. Good luck to all of you guys next season and I'm sure we'll be seeing some of you up in AAA soon. I'm sure I'll be keeping an eye on this league next season though to see who comes out on top - you should have a fairly competitive and balanced league next season here in AA.
