Good luck to Tennessee (like you need it. . .)

While we hope to be the NYG to your NE Patriots, we are cognizant of the fact that a GLB sim is as far distanced from real football as ballet dancing.

GL to Mentone and CCIA in the West, that should be a fun game to watch.

Should be a couple good games.

I'll admit then I never imagined the Tighas in the finals (was expecting the Bears or Evolution), but the fact you're here means we have to take the game seriously. It should be good (likely better than our first matchup).

Assuming we win, I'll be happy to either a) face Mentone Beach in a game that matters (and we've both struggled to finally reach) or b) a CCIA team that got the best of us a couple seasons ago in a scrimmage.

Should be fun.

Good luck CCIA!!!!! I couldn't have picked a better match up to have for this game! I might as well call off work on Friday because I'll be WAY too nervious to actually get anything done!!!! I know we've given Sly a lot of crap over the past three seasons, but he runs a monster of a team over there. Take away the screw up with their Chemistry early in the season and I'm not sure we would be the home team in this game.

I'm with you, jp. Win or lose, I think we'll both be in AA next season, it just a question of whether we take a trophy with us. I'll be pulling for Mentone Beach since a battle of A6 originals in the finals would be historic (the last matchup of two teams that started at remained in A6).

And imagine my Friday...game at 2:00, vacation starts at 5:00. I'd be useless with either...I might as well call in with both.

Agreed, but we are undefeated this season precisely because we have not underestimated a single team. We might emphasize certain games, but nobody is getting overlooked so long as their players are within 20 levels of our own.

We expect a closer game than last time. Tigers are a dangerous animal when backed into a corner. I suppose Tiggers are as well, and perhaps their distant cousin Tighas.

As for as promotion, I hope that "or lose" doesn't apply to us. We're definitely not ready for AA, want another crack at A6 next season. Hope winning two playoff games doesn't override our up and down and #7 seed season.

I have a strong feeling you'll be joining us in AA next season. Last season the River Rats made the jump with only 1 playoff win.

Considering how many top level teams are folding; I'd guess the top 4 are moving up. Just so you know since I live in AA3 and AA4; it's no easier up here

Good to see both you and Mentone Beach having a shot at moving up. I was here season 2-4 (Austin Beavers), I know both of you guys had some tough breaks in the playoffs. I've got a dot on the Brown Cows, so I'm probably moving the other way. Best of luck to all the remaining playoff teams!

I expect you to be in AA next season as well. Your team really pulled together toward the end of the season. That being said, it is tough to be promoted before you are ready. Last season might have been a bit early (we probably would miss the AA playoffs this season). Next season, I think we'll be a low AA playoff team (especially if the Blaze and Pittsburgh are promoted out of AA as both those teams own us).

The Cybermagination Dreams upset us last season, and as a result they became victims in the extremely competitive AA East (no bad teams, but maybe a bit weaker at the top 3 than the West, sort of mirroring A6). Their record: 4 wins to 12 losses. They were the runner up in the East last season if I am not mistaken, so go ahead and begin making preparations for AA. I hope you guys can adjust and keep the momentum you've shown towards the end of this season.

Personally, I think Fury will enter AA with realistic expectations. If we make it to the playoffs (even as an 8 seed) next season, it'll be considered a successful run and transition. Then again, as custom defensive packages and a VA reset are likely in the works, anything can happen.

As far as who gets promoted, I think we'll see these teams making the leap (at minimum):

West
CCIA
Mentone
Long Beach Dub All-Stars (same record as Virginia, reached same point in playoffs, won H2H game)

East
Fury
Tighas
Phoenix Scorpions

And go CCIA!! I have to root against our friends from Mentone simply because of revenue concerns. It appears Mentone will be the home team should Tennessee and Mentone both advance.
