If the playoffs were to start tomorrow, here is how it would look.
First Bracket:
#1 Margaritaville Fins vs. # 8 Atchafalaya Swamp Weretigers
These two teams met in week three with the Fins winning that game.
$4 Waco Green Puffers vs. #5 Rutgers Scarlet Knights
These two teams will meet in week 14 for the first time.
Second Bracket:
#2 North Side Dream Killers vs. # 7 Harrisburg Hawks
Theese teams met in week 7 with the Dream Killers winning the first match up.
#3 New Hampshire Dragons vs. #6 Chicago Pterodactyls
These teams also met up in week 7 with the Dragons on top of a very close 16-9 game.
ON THE BUBBLE:
#7 Harrisburg Hawks: currently at 6-5, 4 of thier remaining games are going to be tough, facing #5 Rutgers, #3 New Hampshire, #16 Elk Rapids, #8 Atchafalaya and a tough Western team, #6 Dallas. Average ranking of last 5 teams= 7.6
#8 Atchafalaya Swamp Weretigers: currently at 5-5-1, they have the easiest schedule of the bubble teams with #3 New Hampshire, #16 Elk Rapids, #13 Jacksonville, #7 Harrisburg, and the #10 western team Hartford. Average ranking of last 5 teams= 9.8
#9 Carolina Cardiac Cats: Currently sitting at 5-6-0 they need to finish strong in their last 5 games, which include games against, #14 Miami, #5 Rutgers, #3 New Hampshire, #16 Elk Rapids and west #7 Spicewood. Average ranking of last 5 teams= 9.0
#10 Washington Poison: Currently at 4-5-2, they have a very hard but yet possible road ahead of them. their remaining 5 games are: #2 North Side, #12 Pocono, #15 Cleveland, #6 Chicago and the western powerhouse #3 Bel-Air. Average ranking of last 5 teams= 7.6
Disclaimer, the above is merely my opinion and I am well aware of a sudden collaspe of any of the top 6 teams as well as a sudden surge from the bottom 6 teams, i just chose to focue on the middle four for the time being. As of week 11, no one has been mathmatically eliminated.
Also of note, last year's playoffs were known for one thing and that was a ton of upsets. Not many one or two seeds went to their league title game. The top four seeds will recieve a home game and will be able to sell tickets for their home games, highest seed will get home games in the following rounds. I believe last year you had two nights to sell tickets for your home games (first night price tickets high, second night lower to make sure you sell them all) and tickets were selling at a nice premium. Each home team can pull in an additional $1,000,000 or more for a home playoff game.
