So...Bort's shaking stuff up in the offseason...

Not only will we have the usual 3-4 promotions out and up (Bye Berlin, Romania, and whoever comes out of Alpha...hopefully us), but it sounds like some of the lower teams are going to find themselves demoted to a newly formed BB league.

What's this league gonna look like in 15 days when S9 kicks off?

I imagine there will be several teams moving to A as all teams CPU will be moving down to capped leagues to restart.

I hope that whatever comes out of it, that it's fair. The Geats were prime for a nice conference title run in season 9, so I'd be pretty pissed if we got stuck at the bottom of some top notch conference completely overmatched...

I just hope the league is a little more evenly matched next season. Seems like at least half the games each week were 100 point blowouts. Made for some fun stats, but c'mon.

It was pretty even among the top 10 or so teams in the entire conference, but there's not much you can do about teams that are slow building or teams that go CPU.

All CPU teams will be in their own conference so that is good. And teams that dropped down to rebuild because they were unseccesful in higher leagues are being penalized by decreased revenue streams so hopefully some teams will quit requesting to be demoted just so they can build up tehir stadiums.

Rereading his Bortness....I'm wondering if the changes are actually going to be *this* offseason or not...

Reading it a certain way, it almost sonuds like he's laying some groundwork this offseason to do the major restructing in the S9-10 break.

Or has he laid it out in more detail somewhere that I didn't see?

To me it sounds like he is saying the shuffle will be this season to allow for world leagues and the other stuff the next.

I hope he has it all lined up already. To have another 15 day or so offseason will be tough to stomach. I wish he could get it streamlined down to a week or 10 days.

He is going to do a minor rework this season and a major rework 9-10

I hope I don't get shuffled to a low cap league... I have some decent free agents lined up for next season.

hehe.. no. I have some level 35-36 players I'll be signing and just don't want to get stuck in a league with a 20 cap so I can't sign them.
