So yesterday drove him to quiting, while I can feel his pain and can't imagine how pissed I'd be if I had spent so much money on this game and watch it turn to shit, I do feel like hes overacting a bit.

Upset about money? Retire some guys keep a select few never buy flex again. Upset about tactics? Stop doing them and just enjoy the fun aspects of the game like shit talking.

Nfrat if you read this rethink your exit don't like your emotion get the best of you! Stick around the sim is bound to get better and enjoy the game for what it is.

Sure you guys got a bum deal and its pretty lame the sim allows for 1 play gameplans but it will get fixed.

The Dots to me have never been that fun anyways, its the forums man, the shit talk, the making flame videos, the Laughing and poking fun at the other guys troubles that make the game fun.

You know for a fact that if you guys would of won yesterday and lets say the Raiders also went undefeated and were 1 seeded. That if we had got pawned by the SLAM you would be right here on these very forums laughing your nutz off and poking fun at me saying get better tactics/you suck comments!

DON'T TAKE YOUR BALL AND GO HOME LIKE A POON!

Get back here and flame me next season and lets enjoy the real fun aspect of this game!

AGAIN

FUCK THE DOTS, TALK THE SHIT!

to end

If you do quit Nfrat you will be missed

and

you will be flamed forever by me for being a quiter which means you can fully expect a D3 ended Nfrats career RP, logo and story!

yea this is kind of lame. As obnoxious as nfrat could be at times it was all in good fun. Like him or not his posts were pretty damn funny and creative. Hopefully bort fxes the sim or more people will leave as well.

I know exactly how he feels. When we lost to Ocho Cinco I was PISSED (first round in the playoffs, we were 14-2). I thought about selling the team also. However, I really like the group of guys I get to work with on the team and LTD is totally correct:
The dots are the least good part of this game.

I know nfrat seems pretty calm about leaving and I wish him well. My point is that the sim changes...just like everything in IRL. The "flavor of the month" is the wildcat formation. Next season it may be WR's that can play a little QB again who knows. Hopefully the option will make a huge comeback thanks to Georgia Tech winning 11teen consecutive national championships.

There is definitely some RNG going on in this game. But I don't see anything in here more insane than Nebraska kicking the ball into the air so a second WR can catch it.....in the same end zone at Missouri that they were given 5 downs to score a TD in several years earlier. If I remember correctly, those were both Nat Championship seasons. That is some RNG shit right there and you have to have stuff like that happen to have a successful season.

Sometimes you lose and it sucks. MaRAWK!!o is honestly in a better place right now because of it. We got to make a ton of money the next season due to fan support and now our stadium is complete. We even named the visitor's bathroom after Ocho Cinco (The Ocho Stinko Visitor's Bathroom)!!!!

So my advice is to take some time and consider before you do anything rash. Not that nfrat did anything rash, but I'm sure glad that I didn't. I like you guys.

Unfortunately I know of some great teams and agents who have either leaving after this season, or giving it one more season...GLB is at risk of a major decline...I feel one day I will quit for a few seasons and return with my flex Points saved when the sim is more balanced

Beaten into quiting- weak.
Losing is part of the game, even when it's cheap.

he didn't quit because he lost. we've lost many time before and he never quit. It's the fact that a lot of time & money was wasted only for it to just end up being a game of whose going to resort to being cheezy.

It wasn't fun, which is all that matters, win or lose.

In other words, the 16 games that you won were fun, the 1 you lost was not, and therefore it's time to quit?

I can understand being disappointed, but out right quitting means there is some kind of underlying neurosis that we all knew was there, but could not put our finger on it.

The 16games we played in were fun, yes. But not because we won. had we gone 14-2, it would have been just as fun.

Last season we had fun even through the playoffs, and guess what, we didn't get past round 2. I play games for fun. I'm a 5'11 dorky white guy, but I play b-ball with people better than me. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose. Sometimes I make mistakes other times I make good plays. I never yell when a teammate messes up and don't care if someone gets mad at me. When someone hits some crazy shot over me, i tell them "nice shot." Win or lose I'm out there looking to have fun, and I move on if it's not.

I'm frustrated too and may quit for a while if things don't pick up. I have 1 player and I spent a lot of time to do scouting and playmaking. That was mainly what i got interested in and I enjoy it. If we got truly out-gameplanned (not exploited) or we ended up even and the RNG fell the other way, then sobeit. That's part of the game and I can handle that. That would mean I need to do more work in my scouts, maybe recruit a couple more players, or figure out things that work better.

but that's not the case here. we're dealing with a situation that supposedly won't even be available anymore soon. I wasted all off-season recruiting and season scouting for what? To have someone mortal-kombat cheeze on me. that's it. And why should I have faith this won't happen again?

yes, we could i slam too, but that's not fun. I want to win because our builds are better, our tactics our better, or hell because of some random luck.

Frats spends a HELL of a lot more money than I and spends even MORE time than I at this game. Why shouldn't he leave? As a consumer, he was basically told to fuck off by the supplier.

Why do you resort to nothing but ad hominom attacks in your post. You know it puts you in a very childish light; be above that.

I get frustrated with the game too and it isn't even the HB Slam thing so much...I mean is it really that play or is it the way the dots interact? Power backs can bust loose on about any play. I do think it is retarded if a single play can be run 90 times in a row to win a game but if people do those things, all I can do is try to game plan as best I can and whatever happens, fine. It's just dots and I don't spend THAT much money on the game.

What frustrates me is some basic sim issues that never seem to get ironed out instead we just ping pong around between what is overpowered and what is nerfed to hell and in the meantime we get dumb shit like endorsements........who cares? As a defensive coordinator it infuriates me that it is Season 8 of this game and i still can't sub by formation. Yeah now it might be on the table for Season 9, great. But why would it take that long?

That and spending 8 seasons building a player and finding out what you have done has been nerfed to shit.......in the case of DE in particular......and my oldest DE isn't one of those 30 strength, 100 speed guys either so don't go there with this.

So I don't know, I still find the game fun and I like designing defensive plays but I just hope the sim can get more balanced and I can get my damn formation subs soon.

Robert that was probably the best explaination of the situation that I've read on this forum.
Your point was clear and makes complete sense.

It just that Frats spent alot of time making friends/enemies being provocative.
So who wouldn't expect a long line to kick him in the nuts,
