While there was never really any question of who would win I'd like to say to the runner up, Malarky Mason, that you had a great year and don't be discouraged by running up. You lead the league in fumbles and were top 10 in sacks and hurries nice work. There is no shame in getting beaten by the best and Klarg Williams is certainly the best.

After much deliberation however, Klarg won the vote due to the fact that

only 10 players in the league had more than 25 sacks and Klarg beat the #2 person by 26 sacks. Which is a simply amazing statistic.

Along with his Defensive Player of the year trophy, Klarg will take home both pass rushing awards: the Gold in Sacks and Hurries

and Thomas Howell vs. Liverpool, Talinn, and Pecs of Steel had:

28 Tackles, 3 INTs, 97 INT Return Yards, 2 TDs, 7 FFs, 15 PDs

I mean, no offense, but that's an MVP vs. the toughest competition.

3 consecutive posts won't save you snatch311. Listen Defensive Player of the Year awards are often controversial. I'm sorry that your guy didn't make it but he was up against too tough a player for the award. There is no shame in being beaten by the best and I hope your little dot takes this as an opportunity to grow rather than a bone crushing defeat.

What deliberation? You just declared yourself MVP.

You can't nominate yourself as Defensive Player of the Year. Only those that are truely anal and full of themselves would do that. Its a majority vote amongst the team GMs. If anyone should get it, it should be Thomas Howell.

I can accept the fact of the pass rushing titles...to a certain extent. but there is no way klarg deserves the all around defensive MVP...not happening
