While there was never really any question of who would win I'd like to say to the runner up, Malarky Mason, that you had a great year and don't be discouraged by running up. You lead the league in fumbles and were top 10 in sacks and hurries nice work. There is no shame in getting beaten by the best and Klarg Williams is certainly the best.
After much deliberation however, Klarg won the vote due to the fact that
only 10 players in the league had more than 25 sacks and Klarg beat the #2 person by 26 sacks. Which is a simply amazing statistic.
Along with his Defensive Player of the year trophy, Klarg will take home both pass rushing awards: the Gold in Sacks and Hurries
