Clearly there has been some controversy regarding the "Strong I Slam all the time" offense...also know as the "Strong I Slam glitch"...

So here is the what I'm proposing ALL owners and coordinators need to post in this thread promising that they will not run the "Strong I Slam all the time" offense. With the understanding that by posting in this forum that you agree to the below terms.

Those terms include an automatic forfeiture of ANY game won in the playoffs by exploiting the Strong I Slam glitch. The game film and a copy of this forum post promising you won't use it will be sent to Bort and/or any relevant administrator(s). Bort will then award the playoff win to the losing team and forfeit the game to the the team that won the playoff game by cheating AND breaking their word.

If you do NOT "sign" this agreement, it can be, and will be, assumed by other owners/GMs that you DO intend to exploit the Strong I glitch during the playoffs. If this is the case, then other owners are free to exploit the Strong I glitch against you with no penalty, even if you do not use the Strong I glitch, because you have not posted here.

Being the Offensive Coordinator for Belfast, I can speak for Belfast. We will not use it unless we play a team that has not posted agreeing to the above terms.

On a side note...we have the two best running backs in the whole league. If someone doesn't post here, and we play you, we WILL run the "Strong I Slam all the time" offense, and with our RBs we WILL win.

It's unfortunate that it's come to this, but in the spirit of the game, I think it best if ALL 16 playoff teams agree to the above terms.

but posting that you will use it on a team if they dont post here would almost make want to post i will not use it and then use it on you. We will not see you in the playoffs though so no worry LOL

I understand that this sounds harsh, but in all seriousness, what other choice do I have?

Based on prior games and threads, we have already established we have teams in this league that are willing to exploit this glitch to win games. So what kind of GM / Owner / Coordinator would we be if we didn't try and protect our team and our players?

Think about it, would you want to be on a team with ownership that is okay with allowing the teams they play to exploit a glitch? Wouldn't you want an owner who has his players backs and stands up for the integrity of the game? This glitch stops making the game fun...and last time I checked, there are a lot of people who spend a lot of time and money on this game. That money , time and effort is wasted when game stops being about player building, game planning and recruiting, and starts being about exploiting unintended glitches that make everything else irrelevant.

Nate got a PM from customer support telling him that OUR game against Dresden is the central part of a discussion that Bort, DD, and the rest of the administrators are having a meeting about...trust me, it's a big deal and they know it.

And as far as using the glitch ourselves against teams that don't pledge not to exploit it.... (I know, that is a shitty sentence)

Again, it's unfortunate it's come to this, but we have to protect ourselves. We're one of the best teams in the league, and we know it. It didn't happen by luck, it happened by hard work! So if someone is willing to cheat to beat us, and make all of that hard work for naught (yes, I know that's a big word for some of you), then we have to know that ahead of time to level the field. If we don't know it ahead of time, we have to assume the worst...that's just being a responsible Owner / GM / Coordinator.

Exactly.

But nevermind, it probably won't make a difference as I doubt I'll make it top play Belfast again.

My plan was to not promise not to use it until like 1 minute before the sim for our league starts, not giving you enough time to change your gameplan back if you set it to run the exploit.

In all seriousness, it's not about "playing Belfast again"...it's about EVERY team. It doesn't matter to me if you play us again, it's just not right for ANY team in the playoffs.

Oh, I agree with that. But you're the one who stated that if someone doesn't post here, you WILL run the exploit. None of the other owners/gms have specifically stated that they will follow up with doing the same, so trying to do what I was going to do could very well end up a waste of time.

Well Amsterdam would never use it anyways. But the problem with you saying you will run it against somebody that doesn't say they will run it. Some owners might not post here so that would be an excuse to use it in my opinion.

But I do like your idea. I hate glitches like this. But I have heard some rumblings that it would be fixed before playoffs so it might be a moot point.

I think what EnFuegoTBR is trying to do here shows that he HAS integrity and a passion for this game that we all enjoy spending time AND money on.

How is he the bad guy????

How hard is it to just quit exploiting a glitch and do some actual game planning!
