6 Moncton Machine 9-6 (at lumber jacks)
7 Montreal Hawaiian Punch 9-6 (at Mustangs)
8 Flin Flon Flyers 9-6 (at Ice Hawks)
9 Calgary Mustangs 9-6 (vs Punch)
10 St. Clair Ice Hawks 8-7 (vs Flyers)

Here is some of the scenario, and a lot of guesswork is going in to this... I can not use the 'like game' method until all the teams have played.


6 Moncton Machine (529 points scored)
7 Montreal Hawaiian Punch (673 points scored)
8 Flin Flon Flyers (671 points scored)
9 Calgary Mustangs (484 points scored)
10 St. Clair Ice Hawks (354 points scored) must win vs Flyers.

Two huge games this week.
Punch at Mustangs
Flyers at Ice Hawks

The Hawks MUST win and needs help from above.
I am going to assume that Moncton beats the lumber jacks (spoiler team?)

If the Mustangs and Flyers lose, we'd have a 3 way tie for 8th place (add in Ice Hawks).
Ice Hawks are 1-1 against these two teams
Mustangs are 1-1 against these two teams
Flyers are 1-1 against these two teams

If the Punch and Flyers lose, we'd have a 3 way tie for 8th place.
Punch are 1-1 against these two teams
Flyers are 0-2 against these two teams
Ice Hawks are 1-1 against these two teams.

Sadly, in either scenario, the Ice Hawks are out because of the total points scored method (unless they crack off 255 against the Flyers). The other teams are too close to predict.

If Moncton wins I believe we're assured of 6th place. We beat every other team that we could be tied with at 10-6...Montreal, Flin Flon, and Calgary. The points scored tie-breaker is used when you have a mix of teams where no single team beat each of the others.

That stinks. Ice Hawks still had a good season. We want to compete for a championship next season. I think we can.

Yes, but how do you then deal with teams 7 and 8. Also with Moncton playing the 'jacks, I am not too worried.

We had to crack off a 6 game winning streak to end last season to be the final playoff team (only to get wtfpwnd by the Pies)

Don't ask. We can't figure it out either. Remember how the whole world wondered what the hell Jessica Simpson was doing messing with Tony Romo? It's along those lines trying to explain cole, tre, wata...whoever the hell he is at any given time.

On a completely unrelated note, if we can both manage to pull off first round wins it looks like yet another Chronic/Bandits matchup.
