Week 16. Finally!!!

Here we are at the last week of the season. The playoff teams are set, but the seeding could make some minor changes this week. The pivotal game is the Arlington Sandlot vs the PaPa Dong's Dragon Farm. Unfortunately for the Dong's winning the game won't get them into the playoffs, as the Wolverhampton Wolverines' own the tie-breaker for the 8th seed. The best the Papa Dong's can do is play spoiler to the Sandlot. If they do, then the Chicagoo Bears vs Washington Warriors game becomes relevant, as if they Warriors can pull off a win, they would move up to the 6th seed dropping Arlington all the way down to the 7th seed. The Cats would move up to the 5th seed if Arlington loses, as they will surely get a win against the Gold Rush.

This Weeks Games!

1. (1) Gridiron Greats vs. (15) Watford Cheetahs
The Greats finish out the season against the Watford Cheetahs. Not a very tough opponent to say the least. And the Greats won't even break a sweat during the game. I was a bit surprised that the Greats only scored 203 points last game. I'll give them another shot at 255.

2. (2) EuroTrash Talkers vs. (8) Wolverhampton Wolverines
The Wolverhampton Wolverines take on the EuroTrash Talkers in a game that doesn't mean much to either team. The Wolverines won't move up if they win it, and the EuroTrash won't move down if they lose it. I think the Talkers will just ride the wave to a victory, and start planning for the League Finals.

3. (3) Stafford Spartans vs. (13) Baltimore Knights
The Glasgow Cats didn't show up to play the Spartans last week, preferring to save what ever tricks they might have until their probable playoff game. The Knights don't have any tricks, and will fall by the wayside quickly in this game.

4. (4) Chicagoo Bears vs. (7) Washington Warriors
The Warriors are going to give this game their all. The Bears will likely win the game, but they have the 4th seed locked up no matter what. The Bears will be playing either Arlington or Glasgow in the first round of the playoffs, and it probably doesn't matter much to them who it is.

5. (5) Arlington Sandlot vs. (9) PaPa Dong's Dragon Farm **** Game of the Week ****
This is a must win game for Arlington, as they do not want to fall further down the playoffs seedings. The PaPa Dong's have nothing to lose and only respect to gain. I expect them to do what ever damage they can manage to the Sandlot. Both the Washington Warriors and the Glasgow Cats will be rooting for the Dongs, as they stand to gain the most by their win. It should be a fairly close match, as the Dong's have improved greatly over the season.

6 (6) Glasgow Cats vs. (16) San Francicso Gold Rush
The Cats are playing their cards close to the vest in preparation for the playoffs. With the Gold Rush Being an easy game for them, don't expect to much effort to be put into the game plan.

7. (11) Aalborg Snaps vs. (15) Seattle Panthers
Two teams that won't make the playoffs, and might not survive the season. They are down to a day or two of salary and who knows if they have a loan available. The loan would get them through the end of the season, but financially these teams are in deep trouble. I would not be surprised if either of these teams, or both, go CPU before the end of the season.

8. (12) Baltimore Knights vs. (13) Kickback Cavaliers
The D- Lighning has a better team right now and I think they will win the game, but the Kickbacks, don't really mind. They are in it for the long haul, and have stockpiled more money than most AAA league teams. What they intend to do with it next season, I have no idea. The D-Lightning on the other hand, are going to have to take a loan to get them through the season.

Couple of nice games in the final week as teams try to get into the 4th or 5th seed and stay out of the 6,7,8 spots. Although the Dragon Farm would like to have a shot at those spots.

Hello, my name is plax. I'm the DC (aka, back-up GM I guess...) for the Amsterdam Pirates.
I supported the decision for revamping our squad, in fact, I actually rushed to recruit Peyton's SS.
My SS is doing splendid, thanks for asking. It's only his second season on the team, but he's the jokester in the locker rooms.

Mini-autobiography aside, you made yourself look like an ass.

Tuesdays and Thursdays we hold a trash talking and comprehension 101 class. I'll try to get you an invite, but they screen for morons so I can't promise anything.
