Last Power Ranking of the Season

With their loss in Week 15, Beantown has been eliminated from the playoffs. The 7 and 8 spots are still up in the air going into Week 16. Although my guess is Saginaw and Big Bear get in.

Saginaw is 8-7 with W’s over Dallas and Big Bear and a L to Steel City
Dallas is 8-7 with W over S.C., but L’s to B.B. and Saginaw
Big Bear is 7-8 with W over Dallas and S.C, but L to Saginaw
Steel City is 7-8 with W over Saginaw and L’s to Dallas and Big Bear

Also, the 4, 5, 6 spots could change in the West with Virginia playing Corpus Christi and Mighty and Long Beach getting non-playoff teams.

WEST
1) 8-0 Mentone Beach Assault (-) W (Long Beach, Mighty, Steel City, Virginia, CCIA, Bakersfield, Big Bear, Saginaw) L (NONE)
2) 8-1 Corpus Christi (-) W (Phoenix, Saginaw, Mighty, Steel City, Bakersfield, Big Bear, Long Beach, Dallas) L (Mentone Beach)
3) 5-5 Long Beach Dub All-Stars (-) W (Virginia, Saginaw, Steel City, Bakersfield, Big Bear) L (Tennessee, Mentone Beach, Dallas, Mighty, Corpus Christi)
4) 5-3 Bakersfield Nanananas (-) W (Virginia, Saginaw, Mighty, Steel City, Big Bear) L (CCIA, Mentone Beach, Long Beach)
5) 5-4 Virginia George Washingtons (-) W (Boston, Dallas, Saginaw, Mighty, Steel City) L (Bakersfield, Big Bear, Long Beach, Mentone)
6) 6-4 Mighty Chihuahuas (-) W (Enghave, Saginaw, Steel City, Big Bear, Long Beach, Dallas) L (Mentone Beach, CCIA, Bakersfield, Virginia)
7) 3-7 Saginaw Supernovas (-) W (Dirty, Big Bear, Dallas) L (Mighty, Steel City, CCIA, Bakersfield, Long Beach, Virginia, Mentone Beach)
8) 3-7 Big Bear Avalanche (-) W (Dallas, Virginia, Steel City) L (St. Paul, Saginaw, Mighty, CCIA, Bakersfield, Mentone Beach, Long Beach)
9) 2-7 Dallas Hitmen (-) W (Long Beach, Steel City) L (Louisiana St., Big Bear, Mentone Beach, Virginia, Saginaw, Mighty, Corpus Christi)
10) 1-7 Steel City Sentinels (-) W (Saginaw) L (Mighty, Mentone Beach, CCIA, Bakersfield, Long Beach, Dallas, Virginia)

Moving Out: Beantown, Idaho, Eugene, LA Cobras, Pittsburgh, Washington

Looks like there is a remote possibility of a 4 way tie at 10-6 for the 5,6,7 and 8 spots in the East (if Boston beats Enghave, Dirty beats Phoenix and Tennessee beats St. Paul in Week 16.)

Enghave 2-1 vs. field
St. Paul 1-2 vs. field
Phoenix 1-2 vs. field
Louisiana St. 2-1 vs. field

Louisiana State would be 5
Enghave would be 6
Phoenix would be 7
St. Paul would be 8

EAST

1) 7-0 Tennessee Fury (-) W (Long Beach, Dirty, Louisiana St., Enghave, Boston, Phoenix, Sleepy Hollow) L (NONE)
2) 5-2 Boston Bears (-) W (Phoenix, St. Paul, Dirty, Louisiana St., Sleepy Hollow) L (Virginia, Tennessee)
3) 3-4 Sleepy Hollow Horsemen (-) W (St. Paul, Dirty, Louisiana State) L (Enghave, Phoenix, Boston, Tennessee)
4) 3-4 Dirty Cheetahs (-) W (St. Paul, Louisiana St., Enghave) L (Saginaw, Tennessee, Boston, Sleepy Hollow)
5) 3-5 Louisiana St. Tighas (+3) W (Dallas, Phoenix, Enghave) L (St. Paul, Dirty, Tennessee, Boston, Sleepy Hollow)
6) 3-4 Enghave Evolution(-1) W (Sleepy Hollow, Phoenix, St. Paul) L (Mighty, Tennessee, Dirty, Louisiana State)
7) 2-5 Phoenix Scorpions (-) W (Sleepy Hollow, St. Paul) L (CCIA, Louisiana St., Boston, Enghave, Tennessee)
8) 2-5 Saint Paul Vulcans (-2) W (Big Bear, Louisiana St.) L (Dirty, Boston, Sleepy Hollow, Enghave, Phoenix)

Moving In: NA
Moving Out: Houston, NJ Mobsters, LA Bicycle Clowns, Texas, NJ Hitmen, Iowa, Philadelphia, Atlantic City

Phoenix would actually have to defeat Dirty, which would be the only upset of the bunch.

Edit: actually, I had it backwards. The less likely scenario involves Dirty losing, Tennessee losing, and Boston losing.

You never know which team will show up from Phoenix, so it is possible. Another interesting tidbit is that there is a chance we end up facing St. Paul twice in a row if your scenario comes to pass.

No, you're seeing the other possible 4 way tie...

Phoenix beats Dirty
Enghave beats Boston
St Paul beats TN

That's a tie at 4-7.

I'd say the 5-8 tie is very likely.

You caught it before I finished posting. I actually don't want to face the Vulcans twice in a row. Look what happened last season when we were in that situation.

Mwaha! Edited before the replies!

It would be fairly impressive if you guys (Louisiana) ended up with the 5th seed after that horrific start you faced.

Why do I only see 3 games listed here?

Wouldn't it be a shame if all that worked out and Iowa pulled the upset?

We went 16-2 in the regular season and playoffs in season 7, and both losses were to Iowa.

We won't underestimate them. Even if their QB is built like an OT or P.

Looks like Louisiana State won, Enghave lost (barely), Dirty won/Phoenix lost, St. Paul lost.

So the scenario comes to pass in the East:

Louisiana State would be 5
Enghave would be 6
Phoenix would be 7
St. Paul would be 8

Looks like your calculations are wrong, as having only three teams tied (thanks to Dirty / Phoenix) mucks up your tiebreakers.

5) Dirty
6) Enghave
7) Louisiana
8) St. Paul

Good game St. Paul. We defeated you 44-7 and held your offense to 150 yards. We'll play you in two days and I fully expect you to hang 500 yards on us and defeat us by three TDs. We'll treasure this win for now though.

Yup, Dirty and Phoenix score changed after I looked at it (+15 minutes before game sim) through player game log.

Good job by Phoenix. Glad we opened up the can on CPU Iowa to make up that score differential or St. Paul would have been 7.

Bring on the Bears!
