Try not running a 3-1-7 against Singleback, that just isnt't smart and has nothing to do with the game. 5 OL and a TE to block 3 DL and a LB, what did you expect a passing attack into the heart of your defense.

Meh, it's okay dawgs. I figured something like this would happen. They don't rush to the left the entire season so they play us and that's all they do. I hope they enjoy rushing the ball 80 times a game this season, b/c when the new powerback stamina hits take place next season you'll need 75 stamina to do that shit.

the NFL RECORD for carries in a game is 45. you mean to tell me 80 carries into the game, he's still running strong, 90 something plays later he's still breaking tackles.

borts got to get this thing fixed asap. seriously, when you've got a defense like ours, 400 yards rushing should not happen.

Hopefully if you play again, you can gameplan a little better because a 3-1-7 clearly is not the answer....Not Bort or the game, just a bad defensive plan.

I should be able to tackle a guy after 80 carries. its one thing that we lined up a defense a certain way, its totally another to get rushed on for 400 yards after 80 carries.

It is common sense, 6 to block 4 makes for a long day and that is what you had....

It's also common sense that after rushing the ball 50 or so times you would think the Hb would start to slow down or his game would be effected. I guess powerbacks have no In-game-breath or whatever the fuck it's called. Yes I understand we used a passing defense, I'm not complaining. They knew what they wanted to do and they went in and did it. Next game won't be the same I can tell you that. Although I have a feeling they won't be making it too much farther than the 2nd round seeing the troubles they had with both Compton and Carolina this season.

I hope the answer Bort comes up with for this isn't just a stamina drain on the HB, if so you'll just see teams running two powerbacks on their roster to do the same type of thing.

That being said, it was a good catch on PM's part to notice and take advantage of the single defense being used against the singleback. It also sucks to be in Tallahassee's shoes and not able to make an adjustment if the same play is being used 80 times. Since we don't get to adjust to things during the game there should be something between auto adjusting your entire gameplan and not adjusting at all.

Yeah, im not frustrated taht we lost, just frusterated with PBs in general.

we took 2-3 seasons to build up a balanced offense, with 5 top receivers, 2 great backs, and 2 great QBs, all behind a great OL.

We should have just recruited a back with 150 str and been done with it.

like i said, the NFL RECORD for carries in a game by one player is 45. The fact that he can run after 50, 60, 70 carries is just ridiculous. even the NCAA record is only 58. The fact that all a team needs is one power back to run 4.7 yards a carry really takes a lot from the game.

And people call us out when we say the same thing. Any who, I agree with pretty much everything that is being said. Energy drain is obviously not working like it should. 80 carries and the HB should literally be dead. Like you get your flex points back because you guy died.

Great example here, the NT making the play was a good 1-2 yards on the other side of the line and the HB lunges a good three to four yards
