Don't know if you guys do a pro bowl voting in this league but I figured I will start one up for a little change in scenery here. Basic Rules:
1: Can Only vote for a maximum of 4 Players on any one team.

2: If the vote isn't stat obvious please explain the reason for the vote (i.e. the cb allowed 10 catches against him all season)

3: One vote per position including key special teams, kr, pr, k, p

4: Maximum of three voters per team, so maybe get some input from the team in team forum if you want.

Offense:
QB:
RB:
FB:
C:
LG:
RG:
LT:
RT:
TE:
WR1:
WR2:

Defense:
NT:
DT:
LE:

I will tally the votes at the end of the season and post the winners:

you should prolly just do 1 per team.

Also, voters: please try to ignore gutted stats and extrapolate from there (im not officially helping here, just throwing it out there)

Didn't you do a pro bowl selection by position last season J? (i think it was you, i might have remembered it wrong though) ...i liked that one better, it seemed more objective than a vote system (even if people disagreed with some of the picks)

It's also about 10x more likely to be done in a timely matter since all the input comes after it's done

St. Catharines Stompers are voting for our own QB, Zach Ardagna.

We currently have the #1 passing offense.

Zach is ranked 8th in passing yards.

Zach boasts the least amount of sacks. Single digits!

Zach is ranked 3rd in passing TD's, and holds the best QB Pct of the two above him.

We'll see if we Agree in about 45 minutes. Fixed after our sim... we will see what happens when the rest are done.

Last season we voted 2 players into each position in each conference. 2 me thats more like a real pro bowl. you need a starter and backup 4 each position. I think you should take into account level of player versus level of competition. What I mean by this is if you have a level 25-30 or so guy with lesser stats than a guy who is higher level, then you should wieght his stats more so then the higher level guy. a 40+ level player, with stats slightly above a 25-30 guy isnt as good as the lower level player. Also as far as inflated stats versus rebuilding or cpu teams, that shouldnt matter because we all play the same teams.

I like the idea of having separate Pro Bowl teams for each conference as well. But I don't think a players level should have anything to do with Pro Bowl voting. It should be purely performance based.

I also think inflated stats against cpu teams should definitely count. But if you choose not to count them you have to take into consideration that the Fort McMurray Mounted Police didn't "give up" until week 4. So that means that the Wolverines, the Piranhas and the Thunderbolts all faced a much better Fort McMurray team than the rest of the league did.

It was a fun season. Too bad my "PQ" Thunderbolts were underachievers and missed the playoffs once again. I look forward to watching some good games in the playoffs.

Good luck to all the playoff teams!!

Hey Finite, I had no idea Shad was doing so much better statistically than almost every damn FB in the league. Thanks for that nugget.
