LOL wins out and they finish first so they are in the drivers seat with a rematch of last seasons championship....

Gunfighters need to win two tough ones to finish out the season in first, so we will see just how important regular season games are as compared to the playoffs....We shall see!

Sierra - Needs to win out and have LOL lose to the Gunfighters, which might be too many if's

DD - needs I think the following (Win out, have the Gunfighters lose to LOL, then beat the Gunfighters while hoping Sierra slips up and loses one of their final two..,,

You know what nevermind. Rhinos win 1 and they are in 1st. They have to lose both to have any other teams have any chance.

great write up RJ...I posted this back on Feb 19th and other then my bias for ABD(should have went with UN) I beleive I did pretty well.

1. Lake Opeta Legionnaires- I don't buy into the junk of who was the past champ. This is what I beleive will be the final 16 in order, and after the last 2 seasons of LOL coming up short I believe this will be there year. When the chips are down this is one team I would not bet against.

2. The Last Gunfighters of Texas- The team I really enjoy watching play. I would love to take these guys at one, but I have learned a long time ago when making predictions go with your head not your heart.

3. Sierra Leone Stallions- These guys don't talk much trash, they just come and smack you in the face. With the addition of some new great talent, this is a very scary team.

4. Somalia Pirates- Another team that seems to fly under the radar. I love their 3 headed attack on the ground and look for them to make noise again in the APL.

5. Ghana Buffalos- Very few teams can stop this teams rushing attack. They maybe too 1 dimensional, for the elite teams but they should have no problems with the other 11.

6. Doinitin Djibouti- One of the few teams to come right to APL, and were able to walk their talk. I also have concerns about equip upgrades, but evem without any lvl 40 gear this team has to much talent not to make the playoffs.

7. Congo Cripplers- This team started off with some problems last year (0-3) then turned it on. I am assuming AI problems that are now fixed. A very dangerous team, when AI is correct.

8. Angola Blood Diamonds- Probably a bias pick here. But this will be the first time in 3 seasons the ABD will go from start to finish of a season with the same OC and DC at the helm. Last season having 2 agents who owned 8 players go inactive hurt them, and mid season moves killed the chemistry. They bring in a new QB for the first time. Should be interesting.

I'm pretty biased but if I had to guess.....

1st - Legionnaires 15-1
2nd - Stallions 15-1
3rd - Gunfighters 14-2
4th - Djibouti 13-2-1
5th - Pirates 11-5
6th - Buffalos 10-5-1
7th - Peacekeepers 9-7
8th - Cripplers 8-8

But with that being said it's very possible TLGoT beat LOL, and it's also very possible DD beats TLGoT. Seeds 1 through 4 are really anyones game. Seeds 5-8 are pretty much locked down though. Also I'm pretty sure the Stallions have either the #1 or #2 seeds locked down. I really don't see them losing again.

LOL vs Gunfighters, I believe that was a shut out in the last match up right? No disrespect to anyone else, they are the two best teams when they come ready to play. Stallions record speaks for itself, and DD is just proof of what solid builds can do against higher level players. With that, one of the 2nd tier will be moving on after the first round this season with a major upset!

SLS and DD can beat both on any given day in the playoffs.
