1) Gold Coast Vipers – Pounded Hawaii for most of the game, then just flexed in the 4th quarter on a very tired Hawaii team. It locks them up as the 1 seed, and the only undefeated in all of Oceania AA (Zeta ftw). Gold Coast goes from missing the playoffs last season to undefeated without a major roster revamp? I need to know how
2) Hawaii Phoenixes – Was a good game, tough throughout then just got raped in the 4th quarter. They are either lacking depth or stamina, or their morale was destryoed. Heck it might have just been just a random sim thing. Good show Hawaii.
3) Sack Sabbath – Locked in at the 3rd seed, and should face off with a TBD team since the top 5 seeds are the only ones truely locked.
4) Auckland Titans – 4th seed locked with a win over Hamilton. They are a tough team for the Titans to match up with but we snuck away with the W. Auckland will play Texas in the first round of the playoffs and Texas has a real chance to steal an upset.
5) Texas Drillers – 7 straight wins now and i think they will go 9 straight leading into the playoffs and the game against Auckland
6) Orlando Lightning Bolts – They are in, im fairly certain of it now and look for them to lock up the 6th seed but nothing is set in stone with Guam now liking to knock off playoff teams.
7) Hamilton Hellcats – Lost to Auckland in a game they needed pretty bad, but I think they will still make the playoffs and face off with Hawaii in the first game of the playoffs
8) Geelong – Better win and better win soon. The let down against Guam may cost them a playoff seed. Things are getting sketchy from seeds 6-8 and one team is going to be let down, is it Geelong? The last game of the season against Syndey might be for the last playoff spot, what better way to finish a season than a playoff game to get into the playoffs.
9) Sydney Sharks –Hawaii and Geelong. The Geelong Vs Syndey game on the last sim of the season will most likely decide the playoffs I think. Both teams need a win to get in.
