Welcome to THE (unofficial) OFFICIAL AAA #1 Power Rankings for Week 11. This week’s power rankings have been brought to us by the Full House character Michelle and her signature phrase, “You’ve got it, dude!” First let us recap last week’s Game of the Week:

Game of the Week
Next weeks game of the week has to go to the Black Russian Terriers at the Duval Triads. In what has been dubbed "The Battle For a Win" nobody is sure if the score will remain in the single digits or climb to the triple digits. Vegas currently has the under/over of the game at 38 with the Terriers as a 3 point favorite. Gentlemen, place your wagers.
Wow, well it looks like I wasn’t incredibly far off. The Black Russian Terriers beat the Duval Triads by a score of 17-14. So, if you picked the Terriers and under…then you win. All winning tickets should be turned in to local ticket redemption offices for your winnings. Winners this week will receive a Chuck Norris Sweat scented mandle (that’s a candle for a man).
This week had a lot of big wins along with big losses. Let’s get on to the power rankings!

THE TOP TEN
1. USA Vacationers (11-0), 68.89
The undefeated Vacationers posted their second consecutive, and 5th of the season, shutout against the Eagles. While the defense was shining, the offense definitely had its stumbles. With 3 fumbles, all of them lost, an interception, and two sacks, the Vacationers almost seemed human at times. While the Eagles were not able capitalize on these mistakes, the LeatherWrecks most certainly will. It should be an exciting next game for the Vacationers and it might be the largest hurdle left for them to go undefeated. Next game: Away at Carolina LeatherWrecks (8-3)
2. Dubrovnik Destroyers (10-1), 65.85
The Destroyers have recently played, what I would consider, the “easier” part of their schedule. It changed this week as they traveled to Moscow to play the Communists. So how would the Destroyers respond? What if they held the Communists to 97 total yards? That’d be good. What if they produced almost 600 (598.5) yards against the Communists defense? That’d be good too. Well, the Destroyers did both and won by an impressive 47-0. They are the consensus best team in Alpha Conference. Next game: Away at Mordland Metal (8-3)
3. MCXA Cybernationists (10-1), 59.27
The Cybernationists were able to score their highest point total of the season in an 86-3 win over the biguglia black heads. It was, well, just a game of complete dominance. The Cybernationists next game against the Massacre will go a long way come playoff time. With a win against the Massacre, the Cybernationists will almost guarantee themselves one of the top two seeds. That would postpone a possible rematch with the Destroyers (their only current loss) until the Apha Conference Championship game. Next game: Home vs Moscow Massacre (9-2)
4. Moscow Massacre (9-2), 47.2
The Massacre defeated the Red Elephant Club this week by a score of 26-3. While it does not seem like a very explosive game, the Red Elephant Club is a team that prides themselves on a good defense and keeping teams out of the end zone. Putting up the second highest point total on the Red Elephant Club this season show how explosive the Massacre can be on offense. With the exception of the “Battle for Moscow” vs the Communists in a few weeks, next weeks game has to be one of the most important of the season for the Massacre. Next game: Away at MCXA Cybernationists (10-1)
5. Shiner Bocks (8-3), 40.84
Well, the Shiner Bocks are riding high on their 5 game win steak. They have destroyed their last two opponents and it really shows in their current power rankings. The Bocks shouldn’t get too cocky and remember that during their current win streak they have played only 1 team with a winning record. The Bocks next game against the Anarchy should not prove to be much more difficult than Lizards but it will be interesting to see how they do down the stretch against teams with winning records. Next game: Away at Balkan Anarchy (2-9)
6. Tenerife Thunderbirds (8-3), 40.57
The Thunderbirds were handed their 3rd loss of the season by the KGB All-Stars this week. The Thunderbird’s usually staunch defense gave up 34 points this week, 10 more than any other game this season. It looks like it was the “big plays” that put the Thunderbirds away this week. With a TD play of 64.5 yards and another TD play of 42 yards (with 0:28 left to play) gave the All-Stars the last second points to win the 34-30 game. The Thunderbirds are another team that has a big game next week with playoff implications. Next game: Away at Scotch Cocks (9-2)
7. Berlin Hounds from Hell (8-3), 40.22
The Hounds from Hell played a great game against the Vaadwaur Phoenix this week. In a back and forth match, the Phoenix kick a 30 yard field goal with 1:49 left to play to tie the score at 16 a piece. The Hounds from Hell got the ball first in OT ad were able to march down and kick a 44 yard field goal to go up 19-16 and win the game. Next game: Away at Odessa Stunners (3-8)
8. Dogdandy Dragons (9-2), 39.89
The Dragons had a great win against the Hell Raisers this week. The Hell Raisers are definitely one of the better teams in the league and Dragons were able to win by a score of 24-14. The Dragons’ next two games are against the (arguably) two worst teams in Zeta Conference and because of that I would expect their power rankings to start to rise dramatically. Next game: Away at Black Russian Terriers (1-10)
9. Scotch Cocks (9-2), 39.3
The New World Order’s “All-Seeing Eye” apparently did not see the Cocks’ one-two punch of TE Brandon Dutrow and WR Jay Garrick. Both were able to rack-up over a hundred receiving yards and a touchdown in the Cocks’ 37-3 win. As already stated in the Thunderbirds’ write-up, next week’s game has major play-off implications. Next game: Home vs Tenerife Thunderbirds (8-3)
10. Helsinki Hell Raisers (7-4), 39.13
The Hell Raisers had a hard time getting their offense going in their loss against the Dragons. The Hell Raisers were held scoreless in the first half and were only able to pick up 4 first downs. The Dragon’s defense held the Hell Raisers to 14 points and zero FG attempts. The Hell Raisers still have not played the Thunderbirds or the Hounds from Hell. They still have a chance to move up in the rankings, but also have a chance to move down. Next game: Home vs New World Order (4-7)
CONTENDING FOR A TOP SPOT
11. Carolina LeatherWrecks (8-3), 37.38
12. Fox News (7-4), 35.24
13. Moscow Communists (8-3), 34.61
14. Mordland Metal (8-3), 33.59
15. Vaadwaur Phoenix (6-5), 27.87
16. KGB All-Stars (5-6), 25.53
NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
17. Tallinn Dream (6-5), 23.64
18. Desert Vultures (5-6), 20.73
19. Warsaw Eagles (5-6), 15.86
20. Mobile Red Elephant Club (4-7), 13.62
21. New World Order (4-7), 10.77
22. Donetsk Lizards (3-8), 6.66
DIVINE INTERVENTION
23. João Pessoa Boobs (3-8), 5.98
24. Odessa Stunners (3-8), 4.72
25. Collierville Hammers (2-9), 4.44
26. Chattanooga Lookouts formerly the Bucharest Spetsnaz (2-9), -2.81
27. Biguglia black heads (3-8), -9.94
28. Moscow Warriors (2-9), -9.24
FACING RELEGATION
29. Balkan Anarchy (2-9), -10.78
30. Duval Triads (0-11), -22.89
31. Black Russian Terriers (1-10), -28.29
32. Emmaus Fighting Green Horents (0-11), -39.63
Game of the Week
Well, as the season starts to get closer to playoff time there are more and more games with playoff implications. For that reason I have two games of the week, one for each conference.
Alpha Conference:
Moscow Massacre (9-2) at MCXA Cybernationist (10-1)
If the Destroyers hold on then they will keep the #1 seed in Alpha Conference. The way the Destroyers are playing now, nobody wants to play them so the later in the playoffs a team plays them, the better. The winner of the #2/#3 playoff game would (presumptuously) play the Destroyers in the Zeta Conference Championship game. If the Massacre win, they will be a lot closer to securing either the #2 or #3 playoff spot. If the MCXA wins, they will have probably secured the #2 playoff spot. A big game for both teams. Vegas has the under/over at 53 points with the MCXA Cybernationist favored by 6.
Zeta Conference:
Scotch Cocks (9-2) at Tenerife Thunderbirds (8-3)
A win for the Scotch Cocks would almost guarantee a #2 or #3 seed going into the playoffs. That would postpone a possible rematch with the USA Vacationers until the Zeta Conference Championship. A win for the Thunderbirds would almost guarantee the Dragons the #2 playoff spot, giving the Thunderbirds a chance to fight it out for the #3 playoff spot. Vegas currently has the over/under at 40 with even money on both teams. It should be a good one.
Fun Fact!
Michelle was known not only for “You got it, dude!” but also "You're in big trouble, Misters!", "No way, José!", "Aww nuts", and "Don't Worry, be Happy".
Hope everyone enjoys!
