Warrior General Games

4 games left. Considering where everyone is at this point, and what the schedules look like, which team that you could possibly play in the playoffs would you prefer?

Dublin has a hard road wherever we end up. If we can beat London and Cork, we have two creampuff games, and would likely be the #4 seed. We really do not want to end up 7 or 8 and playing against Belfast or Amsterdam. We won't be higher than #4. We will likely play #3-#5 seed. That could be: Hollywood, Birmingham and Dresden, most likely. London and Maranello are possible games for us in the 1st round as well, although if we beat London, they won't be likely, and Maranello will need to finish strong while others slip to get a good spot. So, I'll focus on the 3 I've posted:

Hollywood. We would love a rematch against them. We had a 9 point lead heading into the 4th quarter against them and they came back and won the game. We feel we are the better team, and would not mind getting a chance at redemption against them. While all 3 teams we will likely play are good, we do not feel they are the best or worst. So, we have revenge on our minds against the #2 strength team of 3 possible teams we can play... that adds up to Hollywood being the team that we'd like to play. To play them, we'll need to be the #6 seed, and to be #6, we'll need to lose to either London or Cork. That also makes this the least likely scenario.

Birmingham. We beat them 27-13, and had a turnover in the red zone and the ball in their red zone at the end of the game when we had our QB take a knee 3 times... We feel we could have beaten them by more, and feel we match up best against them. Considering their considerably tough schedule, we feel that they will lose at least 2 of their last 4 (Amsterdam and either Dresden or Hollywood), and so will likely be a lower seed. We think these guys will be the #5 or #6 seed, and therefore our best chance to play. Although this is our best matchup, we don't have revenge game mentality against them, and they may have it against us. They are our #2 team we'd like to play.

Dresden. Rivals from our first season of existence in Season 6 playing in WE BBB#11, our teams know each other well. While we went 2-0 against them in the first season, when there was a hard cap and teams were more even and gameplanning made the difference... they have won the last 2 against us, having a higher leveled, better team. Also, a pretty good gameplanning team... just not as good as us in that area. They are higher leveled and tough, and we really don't want to play them. They have tough games against Belfast, Birmingham, and a Maranello team that wants to prove it can be a contender. They will likely lose only 1 more game, and probably end up #5 seed if we win out, and #4 seed if we don't. They are a likely opponent also... This is the team we'd least like to play.

If we win out, we will probably play the winner of the Dresden/Birmingham game. If we lose a game, we will likely play Hollywood, with the winner of the Dresden/Birmingham game being less likely.

My dream hope of course would have been to end up undefeated and have beaten the 49'ers, but the more i look at what your schedule holds and some of the other teams, i think it might actually be a blessing for us to be the #2. If we beat Hollywood on Sat we will be the 2 reguardless of the Dresden game. Dresden beating us only works to thier advantage cause if we beat them we will see them in the first round possibly and as much fun as beating buer twice in one season sounds to me, i would rather not play them twice. The only joy is facing Amsterdam in the Conference Championship again. Aside from that, my hope is to play the beavers, irishmen, in the first round..

Hollywood is visiting Belfast and wearing flack jackets. Think we will give you a game and Cherrie we will be here for you.

Just thought I would post this. Here are the top 8 teams in Alpha. Besides Amsterdam, everyone here looks pretty even to me as far as levels. I still do believe the best game plan will win. We were able to hang with the 49ers despite the levels. That was not a fluke! Even with our magical HB pass. Id say most teams have a depth problem. As for Amsterdam's roster, I dont hate on lowby49er at all. His team will definitely be promoted and why take a huge chemistry hit next season.

Gotta agree with that. After the first season, whenever we've beat you it's been on pure levels/builds alone (although last season we did have good gameplanning on both sides of the ball, whereas we have almost none on the offensive side now). Still, I like the sound of rivals.

Levels aren't everything.

I have lots of crappy high level builds.

If it wasnt for your "magical HB pass" that game would have been a blowout for Amsterdam. It wont happen again, come playoff time you guys are toast.
