3 major issues that I will be at the heart of my campaign

Term limits for both Senate and House....Currently, there are no term limits. There are Representatives that have held office since 1981....That's right....1981. Ronald Reagan had just took over as Commander in Chief, The prime interest rate was more than 20%, and Raiders of the Lost Ark topped the Box Office. There is an alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics, and it's never been more evident than the last few months. Senators would be limited to 2 consecutive terms of 6 years each, and Representatives would be limited to 4 consecutive terms of 2 years each.

Small Business....I am a huge supporter of small businesses. Sadly, these local merchants are disappearing every day. I would like to see some legislation that allows for a tax exempt status. If these businesses operate in the service industry (restauraunts, roofing, plumbing, etc). Tax exempt status is limited to businesses that operate no more than 2 locations.

Future Labor Shortages .....43% of the U.S. civilian labor force will be eligible to retire in the next 11 years. I will say this again......43% of the U.S. civilian labor force will be eligible to retire in the next 11 years. There will be a huge shortage of skilled craftpersons, nurses, doctors, and just about every other profession you can think of except lawyers and politicians. lol. I would like to develop vocational programs at the HIgh School level that introduces students to careers in Welding, Machine Operating, Instrumentation, nursing, etc. As we stand now, the only options a High School Senior has is College, Military, or some unskilled labor position. This program will not be designed for long term use, but a 4-8 year implementation would serve us well in the future.

I have not and will not support Bailouts. UNLESS, it is a viable company that has been affected by a natural disaster or national defense. Then, and only then, will it be funded to continue operations. Not to use the funds to purchase competitors.

I would like to hear some of your thoughts about issues that concern you.

You'd be better off funneling small business money to the tech industry than restaurants and roofers. I work closely with developing small businesses in manufacturing and technology and am a small business owner myself. Small businesses in these areas provide higher paying jobs that can actually be taxed as opposed to the lower wage jobs provided in the restaurant and roofing business.

Without our technology and product development, their are no manufacturing jobs and no one has the money to eat out or pay someone to repair their roof.

Your POV on developing trade classes in high schools is something I agree with. My local school district has begun doing this.

How about not passing a bill that pays $135M in bonuses to a failed company's employees and actually reading bills you vote yes or no for.

As a small business owner, it sounds good to me

I have been on the current Reps ass about this. Sadly, he is co chair of the supposedly fiscally responsible Blue Dog Dems.

Ultimately, the only recourse we have is to boot their ass out of there come election time.
