In Lion, the Nile Denial step up to knock-off the heavily favored Palookas and the Diamonds make a statement against the Pirates and remind everyone that they aren't officially out of the playoff picture just yet. And in the game of the week, the Red Sea Wave showed they deserve their newly earned top spot with an impressive victory over the Forest Dragons of Gabon.
Over in Elephant, the Frogs step up again to show that maybe their record is more indicative of what they can do than the computers seem to think. They will certainly have the chance to prove themselves over the next 3 weeks with games against a Murderer's Row of RMoG, Boston, and Casablanca.
