Warrior General Games

Rules are simple. Schedule a scrimmage against the team you are matched up with. The winer of each scrimmage will earn a point for their league. Whichever league has the most points at the end will win. I tried to make the matchups as fair as possible while avoiding teams playing teams they may have played recently. Basically it is the top teams against each other while also trying to make it Alpha vs Zeta. Right now I am just posting the matchups. tonight I will break down the games and once the games are complete I will do a write up on them.

Game 1.

Aviemore Angels vs Denmark Destruction

The Angels are riding a perfect AAA record into this game vs the 2nd place AA Zeta Destruction. This matchup includes 2 teams that in a season where passing is down they both have found a way to be successful. The Angels should win this game but don't be surprised if the Destruction give them hell.

Game 2.

Normandy Invasion vs Amsterdam Admirals

The Admirals and QB Big Gun Runner are going to have to have a big game to get past the Normandy Invasion. The Invasions star HB Numa Haduke should have a field day. If Amsterdam can slow him down then they may have a shot. Here is guessing Numa has his way witht he Admirals.

Game 3.

Global Gym Purple Corbas vs Chuck Norris Roundhouse Kick to the Face

This is one of the games I am most excited about. Chuck Norris has lost 3 games this season when I thought they would go unbeaten. Don't expect those losses to effect the way they battle the Corbas. QB Jimmy Kab should be the difference maker here though.

Game 4.

Carpathian Kindred vs Toulouse Darkwolves

The kindred are on a 3 game slide after a 7-0 start to the season. Toulhouse suffered their only loss to the Admirals recently. This should be another good matchup that could go either way.

Barcelona Crusaders vs Portuguese Men of War

4 games so far and 4 times i have picked AAA to win. I am half tempted to go with MOW here but something tells me the Crusaders Defense will win this one.

Game 6.

Munich Maniax vs Orange County Gremlins

AX has always been one of my favorite teams and I have recently taking a liking to the Gremlins. This should be a fun game to watch. I expect the gremlins to hang around for a bit before Munich puts the AX down.

Dublin Druids vs Black Country Knights

Though the owner of the Knights is a good GLB buddy of mine I just can't see them winning this game so I can't pick them. The Knights seem like they have two seperate teams. One is a great team that should already be in AAA and the other plays like a BBB team. I wounder which will show up here.

Game 8.

Hattgenstein Volunteers vs Flying Monkeeh Armada

This game has been played many of times. The Vols have a 5-1 all time record against the Armada but the Armadas 1 win was a huge one. They upset the Vols in the second round of the WEA6 season 5 playoffs and cost the Vols a shot at moving up to AA. The last time these two met the Vols beat them like they stole something but when the Monkeehs come to town anything can happen.

Bath Killer Bees vs Fareham Demons

So I have now predicted 8 games and have went with AAA everytime. I am sure AA will pull out a couple of wins and this is a trap game for AAA. Bath should win but Fareham is very dangerous.

Glasgow Colored Trombones vs Soft Fluffy Pancake Bunnies

I am a GM for the Bunnies and would like to win this one but I just think the Trombones will burn the Pancakes. I wish for this game the GLB dots would change to the form of the team names.

Laconia Spartans vs Helsinki Crabs

This should be another fine matchup. The Crabs could pull it out but Laconia won't let them. Rape imo.

Amsterdam Chiefs vs NY Flanders

I have always wondered how a team from NY got into WE but I have never received an answer. I think the Chiefs will invite the Flanders into a pregame coffee shop and have the game won before it starts.

I think the Gremlins and AX will be a great matchup.
