I think it would only be fair and show sportsmanship. We all know if the Legal Smexies go 20-0 and win the championship, it will just be a tainted title and no will recongize them as true contenders. I think a moderator like J9 should moderate GLB and show them that the system is corrupt and that we will not stand for it. putting 45+ team in this legaue is a sham.

if j9 wants respect in the GLB community, this is her chance. the ball is in her court.

Its actually not a bad idea. Imagine the props that team gets by starting CPU's in place of starters in protest of the current system.

Odd that this comes a mere three games before you guys play them...

Weve caught you guys just about in very little time as far as attributes go. The only thing your team has on us is levels, sa's and va's. If not for the changes to GLB and adding VA's your team would more than likely lose to us in the playoffs and be a laughing stock of GLB.

Its pretty clear that with all the people on GLB forums that cry about slowbuilding daily that Bort added VA's so that teams full of high level poorly build vet players could keep their players and still win. All the VA thing is was Borts way to combat super slowbuildding.
Your team gets to use it as a much needed crutch this season.

But its pretty obvious that my team is "keeping up" in its very little time compared to yours. Its pretty obvious that my team will equal your teams builds by seasons end then surpass your team early season 9. Then "If" both teams make the playoffs next season and end up playing eachother we will win. Hell we may even beat you this season if we play after we boost.

So yah, not sure where your going with the keep up comment.

Not unfair imo. Not your guys fault that you were left behind either. Though ive had agents PM me about purposly throwing a game to stay here because of doubt over beating jreevs team.

Pretty sure the point being made is that Legal Smexies by FAR outlevel the suggested levels of the league and thaat the team should not have been overlooked as far as promotion goes.

Oh. Well that's partially the admin's fault for not properly setting up the leagues, and partially your fault for not understanding that a BETA game can have issues...

I actually said that this could be a good chance for a team to make a stand vs the current system in place. However, since were discussing it now i will give my opinion. I personally will look at any championship won my the Smexies in this league this season as this.

Legal Smexies finially won their championship vs pee wee teams after going season after season unable to compete with teams on their level. Due to a flaw in the current system of promotion and relegation the Smexies were able to steal a championship. Though done within the rules of GLB and the league this championship cannot be taken seriously. EVER. And when ever the trophy is looked at the person doing the looking should only think one word......... SAD.

But hey thats just my opinion. I'm sure others share in it though.

I'm very aware of beta games having issues. I'm also aware why Bort continues to use the term "Beta" in this game. Its surely not because of all the crap wrong with it.

A championship is a championship ... some are easier to achieve, others are more challenging. Smexies are getting an opportunity to take advantage of the current promotion / staying / relegation system.

For us, achieving a championship out of the BBB #1 league meant a bit more than on average due to the competition against teams that planned well, recruited well, and built well.
