Before anyone calls me a spelling/grammer Nazi read the following:
A panda walks into a café. He orders a sandwich, eats it, then draws a gun and proceeds to fire it at the other patrons.
“Why?” asks the confused, surviving waiter amidst the carnage, as the panda makes towards the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder.
“Well, I’m a panda,” he says, at the door. “Look it up.”
The waiter turns to the relevant entry in the manual and, sure enough, finds an explanation. “Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves.”
If anyone gets the chance to read "Eats, Shoots & Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation" I would, it is a good read.

It is interesting especially now with the rise in shite grammer brought about by the internet. One of my pet peeves is your and you're or you are; people getting that basic one wrong really gets to me. I can't help it, I know I should not be uptight about it but i just can't help myself

. Damn this younger generation with their "text" messages lol. I think it is just a culmination of things to be honest, generally lower standards of education, new quick ways of communicating and laziness all play a part in the decline of grammer.

the use of grammar on the internet either makes you seem educated, or makes you seem five... depending on how well or poorly you use it. there really is no excuse for crappy spelling/grammar. it takes 30 seconds to proof read.

i dunno, capitals and periods at the end of posts don't bother me too much. i don't like it when people leave obvious grammatical errors like too and to or their there and they're (like has already been discussed). i also hate the use of 2 r and u as replacements for words.
