Alpha:
#1. Samoa Piranha Monkeys, Definitely the win is the best of the year. Samoa is just so impressive. I am sure that Samoa is ready to get out of AA, I expect they are fighting as hard as they possibly can. Darn good win, I expect good things to continue.
#2. West Canaan Coyotes, Usually a loss will drop you three spots at least, but when you have beaten Melbourne, Guam, and Easter Island things are different. These guys have lost only one game by two points to one of the top teams in AA#2. West Canaan is still one of the top dogs in Alpha.
#3. Williamsport Soul Reavers, This is one heck of a team that is playing great. They have a for sure win coming up, but after that the road begins again. WSR has one easier games, but other than that they have nothing but VeRy tough games for the rest of the season.
#4. Bay City Bohica, This team is good, no doubt but man their road is tough. They face Moai, West Canaan, Samoa, WSR, Hometown, Cook Island, and Melbourne; that will not be fun. I am exited to see how they respond to those major games.
#5. Guam Gorillas, They now have their chance. I know these guys and they live for these games. They would love nothing more than to face the undefeated team and prove they belong as an elite team. I am pumped to see how they respond.
Zeta:
#1. Florida Frenzy, Well they played a very good Newcastle team, and of course they beat them by a million. Florida is just seemingly unbeatable. I really don't expect anybody to give them a free ride, but I don't see how anybody can beat them.
#2. Sumatra Sea Hawks, Man was that a high scoring affair. Sumatra flexed some offensive muscle, and man do they have some. They tied their second highest score of the year against one of the better defenses in all of AA#2.
#3. Rapid City Rebels, They stomped a mud hole in A-State (common theme this season). You would think there should be no questions about how good this team can really be, but I am sure any will be answered in time.
#4. Newcastle Ghosts, Wins over Melbourne, Coney, and Perth are very impressive. It could be argued that the Port Royal loss was one tat Newcastle could have won, but Sumatra and Florida are not bad losses. Newcastle is a really good team.
#5. Perth Cyclones, Dang was this a tough pick along with #4. Perth's wins over Coney, Moai, and Port Royal get them in this hole. Perth really has the talent to upset any team in AA on any day. I am exited to see the outcome of their game vs Melbourne in week 11.
