I'm just making these up there's no formula and nothing powerful about them...

1) Kilwa Polar Bears: 7-0
Undefeated, and unchallenged - what else can you say? This teams strength is their OL - the best in Lion by FAR.

2) Rwanda Headhunters: 6-1
Their butt-kicking at the hands of Kilwa made me want to rank them lower, but they trashed Sierra Lione, so I can't. They seem to be well-organised and generally teams with awesome websites care enough about the game and their team to come ready to play every game. Chazno Bull is a beast. QB Matt Oliver still needs to put together a dominant game against a top-tier team though.

3)Flashdancing Platypi: 5-2
We woulda been much lower, but a surprising thrashing of StingTalk (who I previously wanted to put here) catapults the Platypi back into contention. Their revamped defense seems to be making an impact in impressive wins over the machine and jackets. I'm not going to break this team down too much because I don't exactly want to give away our strengths or weaknesses. =p

4)StingTalk Yellow Jackets: 5-2
Having played them you can see the potential is there. A couple of bad breaks and facing a furiously motivated Platypi team may have made them look worse than they are. This team has the talent to take it all. Their QB Reggie Ball is great, but the strength of their team is their bowling ball of a halfback who singlehandedly scored both their offensive TDs by breaking 5 ba-zillion tackles. He is a monster. Their defense looked pourous however, especially against the pass. This needs to be fixed.

5)Senegal River Pythons: 4-3
Yes, they are 4-3 and ranked ahead of some 5-2 teams - but I think they deserve it. Their losses are to Rwanda, Kilwa and the Platypi...and they absolutely blasted Sierra Lione when they played them. They have great talent at the skill positions, but their weakness along the trenches may come back to haunt them and ultimately keep them from getting any hardware this year.

On the bubble
Cape Verde, Sierra Lione, Somalia.

In danger of becoming irrelevant

Thanks for the rankings. The Headhunters have channeled their inner goats and put together a strong season so far. I hope we can keep the winning trend going when we play StingTalk next game. They are coming off of a tough loss and will be very motivated to put a beating on somebody. We will have to get in plenty of film study.

The Platypi are still a mystery to me. You guys have lost some games I figured you would win and then you turned around and got a big win against the Yellow Jackets. We still have a little while to try to figure you guys out, but it is going to be tough.

Honestly, I hope we can snag one of those top 4 seeds. It would be nice to see a home playoff game again. I haven't seen one since our expansion season.

I think the Rwanda defense has out-scored our offense ... and no mention.

*sigh*

I'll have to keep the ranks closed for at least another game as its Us v The World.

14 sacks not good enough to be considered 'challenged'???

We should get an idea of how good you guys are in your next game against Stingtalk. The beating Kilwa handed you guys heavily weighed in my ranking.

Stingtalk got a tough week 1 interconference matchup and otherwise would be 6-1 right now.

What's up notak? I thought we were starting to be good friends then you go and make these posts. You think we are better than the Platypi but you want to see us finish behind them?? That cuts me deep.
