1.) Polar Bears- until someone beats these guys they are the unanimous choice for the top spot.
2.) Rush- these guys have the #2 ranking for their win over a very strong aggies team and until they lose they deserve this spot.
3.) Aggies- Still in my opinion the top team but they have had a stumble and should rebound.
4.) Bombers- this team is scary good and should only get better they are coming upon a rough stretch of games and it will either vault them towards the top or slip them back down the list.
5.) Leviathans- these guys could easily be ranked higher and actually should as they beat a very good Grizzlies team and kept it very close with the aggies.
6.) Hitmen- After a very good win over the grizzlies thses guys slowed some but so did the grizzlies so they still deserve the #6 spot.
7.) Grizzlies- after losing 2 games by a total of 10 points and both games could have been won with a break or 2 the grizzlies are still a hard win for anyone and they are competing for the home play-off games.
8.) Cranes- these guys are a great team and could end up being a spoiler for the west against some of the top teams. If you sleep on these guys they could easily post a big win.

Can't argue with that hatch. These next few weeks will be quite telling. I'll be very surprised if anyone is undefeated by Monday.

1) Vancouver Valiants--They have more impressive wins(over BEE and the Refugees, than does the WRL to this point, a week 11 showdown with the WRL "could" have both teams sporting 10-0 records)
2) WRL--I feel like we're the best team in A#4 this year, but the valiants have been more impressive to this point.
3) BEE--BEE had a tough loss to the Valiants, but rebounded, but have an up and down stretch of tough games to finish out the season
4) Vancouver Refugees--2 losses to Valiants and #3 west team(Aggies), still tough and will be there when it comes home playoff time, has rough games against BEE, WRL, Current, and the Blitz remaining.
5) Toronto Blitz--Another 2 loss team through 7, has only played the Valiants from the top 4, so it doesn't get any easier, and winning 1 or 2 against the top 4 will go a long ways towards a top 4 seed.
6) Niagara Current--Unexpected loss to the Hurricanes, drops them a spot, they have matchups remaining with BEE/Valiants and refugees.
7) Cape Verde 4-3 with 3 losses to the #1 west team, #2/#6 East team, still a lot of tough games to come, and could be looking at a near 500 record(8-8, 9-7)
8) The U also 4-3, and have 4 games left on their schedule well they will be underdogs(BEE, WRL, Current, Refugees) their matchup in week 11 with Cape Verde will likely determine who makes the playoffs and who doesn't.
9) North Vancouver Hurricanes, I mention these guys because sitting at 3-4 they've only have WRL/Valiants left to play, and could finish up at 10-6 and in the playoffs.

The 2nd half of the season is going to be intense, and with big games each week its going to be exciting.

Project the west to see where you figure the results will be

I think 14-2 wins the West ... and there could be multiple teams at that mark.

We could get screwed having to play WRL in the first week when our chemistry was so low and before we made a few key trades. However, we lucked out with an easy stretch out of the gate which allowed us to get our chemistry to a respectable level prior to facing most of the top teams in the West. I do know that we will have to play our butts off to get to 14-2!

I see one of WRL or the Valiants finishing the seasons 16-0. The Valiants have played 4 of the top 5 teams in the east that are not us or the WRL, so we have mostly the bottom half of the league left to play.

Oh its very possible that our team, or yours could go 16-0, however, 15-1 just gives a little more leeway.

There are realistically 3 very losable games left on our schedule, and 2-3 others that with bad sim luck, and bad tactics on our part, or a combination of good tactics on theirs could be close enough for us to lose...(case in point tonights' game against North Vancouver, who has steadily improved all season, and has a solid team).

We are also in the same boat, though, our chemistry is just now getting to respectable levels, and the "easy" start(in quotations because we haven't blown anyone out), certainly helped us to our 7-0 start.

That 1 point still bothers me from week 2....

Field goals are next to worthless in a game without two point conversions. I would go for it inside your opponents territory on every fourth down and less than 3.5 or so.
