It is with a saddened heart that I am announcing our turnover to CPU in the next couple of days.

I have really enjoyed my ownership seasons, and had a blast with the cast of characters within the Africa leagues, in fact, I can't imagine being anywhere else.

However, due to some very serious time contraints, I just dont have the time it takes to keep up the quality of ownership my players are accustomed to. A new job title at work has me working late hours just to keep up.

It is not an easy decision, I would love to get this team up where it belongs and fight to get into the Pro leagues, where we deserve to be, but that requires more time than I can give.

Though many agents have been very helpful, there are two I would like to thank publicly, flaredog and animusmax. These guys have given countless hours in helping me through these times (and teaching me the ropes when I first started).

I posted this here so teams within the league may find players willing to come to their teams.

The plan is to go CPU tomorrow, which then teams can offer these guys contracts, or the guys can stay and get their XP. I apologize for going CPU in the middle of the season, and though it hurts the league, I dont want to keep these players without being able to dedicate the time to them.

I will still be playing GLB, but at the player level, and will trim down my stable of guys quite a bit.

Thanks to Africa AAA and AA, man it was a fun ride, this is by far the best league in GLB.

It was always a blast SofaKing. To go from where we were when we started to winning the AA title and then being a pretty good AAA playoff team last year was a lot of fun. We lost a lot of players this offseason, and it was tough to try and recover, but we always did our best, and kept plugging on.

I'd also like to give a shout out to E'ci, MaRawko, the Tusken Raiders (formerly Tripoli Terror) and the artists formerly known as the Iowa Fortress. All you guys were tough, wonderful rivals, and it was fun to see that rivalry carry on after all of us were promoted up to this level. All are/were class operations, and I'll be sorry to see those rivalries go.

Depends on the players. Obviously, with the team going CPU, everybody basically becomes a mid-season free agent. I'm sure there are some who would like to stay in the league.

Very sorry to see you guys go, I don't know about the rest of the league but I considered y'all an honorary S3 AA#3 team. Grats on the promotion!

I hate to see this happen. I was really close to doing the same thing until LTD expressed interest in owning the team. I totally understand not having the time and losing the desire to run a team though. It was fun guys

There will be a moment of silence before the next MaRAWK!!o home game and a tribute at half time to our fallen brothers. This is indeed a sad time in the history of MaRAWK!!o and the African leagues.

The Tusken Raiders will follow suit and also hold a moment of silence at our next home game.
