1. The Danes- Stay right where they were because unlike NCAA Football polls I dont drop teams from #1 because of a close win. What is pretty funny is that the Danes Schedule Mirrors PM. We play a team, then they play them. Seems to be the way part of the schedule fell. Looks like at least 7 games where whoever gets PM, gets the Danes right after. Now I see what the Danes are doing..Just follow my gameplan and get the win. LOL I Keed, I Keed. Danes will have their hands full with Norfolk. Last time they played, Norfolk eeked out a 33-30 victory. Could it happen again?
2. PM-After dispatching the Knights in a good game, PM gets an improving Telstar team. Each week this team gets better and I am not looking forward to this game because I believe its a trap game. Between the Knights and Cobden. Trust me Rev, I am not overlooking you.
3. Trilla Titans- Solid, yet close, win over Siracusa. So far Trilla has been very consistent with their only loss being a 4 pointer to league power Danish. I really think this Trilla team is the best one yet and they are poised to make some noise. GCMM coming in week9.
4. Taylor- Taylor gets #6 GCMM this coming week. Should be the game of the week in week 7 and I expect a bloody brawl between these two. Taylor needs this game with a 3 game run of Bendigo, PM, & The Danes on the horizon.
5. Cobden- Quietly rolling along but about to enter a very difficult part of the schedule. Bendigo, PM, & The Danes over the next 3 games is no easy task. They cant afford to look ahead. After Bendigo, we can see how they fare against AA league powers and league Vets.
6. GCMM- Here comes the war. GC gets Taylor in a very important mid season showdown. Neither team can afford to drop a game back and with Trilla, Bendigo, PM, & The Danes still coming, this game is one they have to get.
7. Bendigo- Got back on the winning track with a hard fought victory over Telstar. Gonna have to prove something this week against upstart Cobden.
8. Norfolk- After a decent run of a couple of games, finally fell to league power PM. But, they played tough. Game with the Danes this week, so they have their work cut out for them. At least though, they would have both those teams out of the way.
9. Siracusa- Another, very, very close loss, but still only 2 games out of the playoffs with 9 to play and they have already played most of the powerhouses. The breaks will start going their way at some point and they make a huge push for the playoffs.
10. McNuggets- Just out of a playoff spot after 2 losses tot he top two teams. A game with Suva they should win and then a game with Siracusa both teams need badly.
11. Shrooms- Also one game out of a playoff spot, but possibly has the toughest road left of all the teams from 6-12 and will have a hard time finding a way into the playoffs.
12. Telstar- I am aware they have lost 3 in a row and they have PM and the Danes back to back, BUT, they are improving every week.
13. Puerto Rico- The guys have had a rough year and it continues. Gotta build for next season.
Aussies/Suva/Guam- All playing for next season.
