Alpha:
#1. West Canaan Coyotes, They swatted down another decent team. West Canaan is just plain good fun to watch. Week 9 is the big, big one against Samoa, but week 7 is against Johnston and week 8 is against Moai... That will be a tough stretch
#2. Samoa Piranha Monkeys, Ok here is something we should all know, they have not allowed over 13 points, and they have not scored under 41... Scary right? Samoa has been in AA for a very long time, is it finally their season?
#3. Williamsport Soul Reavers, Man they make me nervous with some of these close games, but they always pull it out. Is that the sign of a good team? or the sign of a team that is going to collapse in a big game? I love WSR, but they make me nervous with these close wins.
#4. Bay City Bohica, Very few teams can run like this team. These boys are really something; great game planning, great players, great owner... These guys are built to run. Gotta love it, buttt are they going to be able to keep this great track up for the entire season?
#5. Easter Island Moai, You know it was a close win when you allow the opponent only 6 points, and you win by less that a TD. Moai might not be the most impressive team, but they freaking keep winning. Boy you gotta love that.
Zeta:
#1. Florida Frenzy, Well... I got whipped... Tell you what confuses me, how the games final score would have been 20-7 if you could eliminate Florida's second quarter. These guys did some funny stuff, but that is what makes them great.
#2. Sumatra Sea Hawks, Their next four games are against Coney, Perth, Melbourne, and Florida... Wow that is as tough as it gets. Sumatra better be buckled up, because this trip is going to get bumpy.
#3. Melbourne Gators, Can you really make it any closer? Maybe a safety in the last 20 seconds of OT? These guys are really impressing me. I am starting to look at them as one of the top 5 or 6 teams overall.
#4. Perth Cyclones, They had a little scare today against Rockhampton, but they fought through it and took home the W. Perth has NO breaks in the near future, this is test time. If they can make it through the next few games with a win, they can prove just how amazing they can be.
#5. Rapid City Rebels, Orangefield and Atlantis is really nice wins for a good buncha Rebels. Two of their next three games are a little bit of a let up, but then back to the salt mines.
