1) Hawaii Phoenixes – I refuse to type much more about Hawaii until they beat someone near their level of competition. Beat 1-5 Guam, joy. With Hamilton dropping out the top 8, they have yet to beat a playoff team, or even play one at this point. Although that’s not their fault and you can’t penalize them for it.

2) Gold Coast Vipers – 33-17 win over the Drillers. Gold Coast is for real. A very convincing win over TexAss. Hawaii, Sack, and Auckland better take notice if they haven’t already.

3) Auckland Titans – 3 straight playoff teams in a row, and 3 straight wins. Hard to argue against that kind of performance.

4) – Sack Sabbath –Another win for sack, increasing their win total for the season to 6, in 6. Orlando is next for Sack

5) Death Riders –Nice win over Geelong. Boosts them into the playoff hunt. Do I think they are #5? No. But everyone else between 5-10 just keeps getting their asses handed to them so I rewarded the winner of this weeks upset.

6) Orlando Lightning Bolts – Auckland handled them with a certain level of ease. Late 4th quarter clean up TD’s is about all they could muster. Sack Sabbath next doesn’t make life any easier.

7) Texas Drillers – The lights are going out in Texas as yet another loss get handed to them.

8) Geelong – Geelong can’t buy a break. In a huge slump that drops them a few spots. I did not expect the Death Riders to win this game, but they did.

9) Hamilton Hellcats – Did that just happen? I was shocked to be honest.

10) Melbourne Pred’s – Another big loss for Melbourne must have them searching for answers.

11) LOOK OUT ALERT ---- Sydney Sharks = Upset city this week, lets keep an eye on them.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
The breakdown of teams in the top 4 and wins against playoff opponents.

1) Auckland Titans – wins against Texas, Geelong, Orlando
2) Sack Sabbath – wins against Texas, Geelong
3) Gold Coast – Win against Texas
4) Hawaii – None

Man, you are fast! Nice work once again. Texas made me nervous in the fourth quarter but we were able to hold them off. They have a very good team, we just caught them on a bad day.

dang, so is Texas a playoff team now? If we beat them, will we have at least one convincing win under our belt. I totally understand where you come from 10, but our seven game stretch will be very tough. all Playoff teams. Hawaii is lookin forward to coming out 7-0 from that, but are preparing for some big hits. Good Luck to all our upcoming teams, and Get your popcorn ready

Its hard to do the rankings after the top 4, because for the last three weeks they have been getting bruised up.

I think you are doing a great job with the Zeta Rankings. I agree with you on the Hawaii thing. If you have not even played a playoff bound team, its hard to give you props. But, their thing is they have to win now because of a backloaded schedule. We have a couple of teams like that in Alpha.
Again nice job and you guys better not sleep on Sack Sabbath. I used to despise playing them because they were one of those teams who gameplan extremely well, and they still do. I am a huge fan of the Sabbath and hope that when all is said and done, my team can win Alpha, they can win Zeta and we can have a nice rematch from our scrimmage prior to the season. But, this time, for all the marbles. No knock on Hawaii, Gold Coast, or Auckland, which are all great teams. Its just a personal preference. Hell, first, PM has to win in Alpha, where things wont come easy thanks to the league being so top heavy.

haha... so true. If there are two things i fear in our quest to 16-0 it is first the GCVipers and second, the Auckland Titans. I am monitoring both those teams and Sack very closely,
