After 4 games, including a valiant showing by Mean Machine, the West Scranton Invaders once again firmly hold their grasp on the #1 ranking. That said, with two narrow margin victories in the GLB Pro World Tournament and the aforementioned MM game, the rest of Oceania Pro may start to smell trace hints of blood in the water. Undefeated teams So Cal, Cascade and Mata-Utu appear ready if/when their time comes. Cascade has routed every OPL team in their path so far, including two top 10 teams in the Prime Timers and most recently in week 5 against the Bad Mofa's, and will be the first to challenge for OPL's top spot. Their week 6 game against Mean Machine will provide some strong insight into just how ready they are for their week 10 matchup.
Questions to consider after 4 weeks... will a top 10 appearance only fuel Osaka's fire?... are the Strike and Stingers overrated after favorable early season schedules?... can LaShonTell handle playing for a team not ranked in the top 10?... are we witnessing the downfall of the once most feared city in all of OPL with all three Brisbane teams ranked outside of the top 15?... so many questions, yet a lot games left to be played!!

Nineteen teams participated this week.
() denotes first places votes
Fun Facts: There was a vote for the Cook Islands Cobras (typo or spite from a bitter rivalry?)... Fiji Stingers were all over the map (ranked as high as 5th and as low as 27th)
I awarded a first place vote with 32 points, 2nd with 31, and so on down the line. In the event of a tie an average of the scores is awarded (ie. tie for 2nd between two teams results in a 30.5 for both).
Thanks to all those who voted this week!!! Way to go guys.. lets keep building on this!!!
