I am thinking the Scourge put KY jelly on the Stockholm trainers' tape. 5 fumbles, 4 lost? I am betting BearBryant kicked a chair into orbit from the locker room at halftime.

I'll let you in on a secret. I already know that the Tigers are way better then us.

I am very much a realist. That is why you never see me popping off and bragging on this forum. Just before last season when we were still the Bakerfield Dozen I told everybody we were going to be playing for the Championship and to be ready for the Scourge. We won the title. If you have seen some of my post on the prediction threads, I have already stated that I think we are an 8-8 team and with a lot of luck we could be a 10-6 at best.

I think the Tigers need to play a team like the Pirates. Or even better I would start throwing down challenges to the top teams in AA #3 and see how you stack up. Since that is where you will be next season anyway.

You know, the teams I GM on are putting up a lot of FFs this season. Not that I am doing anything. It just seems like an odd coincidence. Of course I think that FF are way up this season all over the place. That and the kick and punt returns are just ridiculous.

Like in all statistical exercises though, coincidences only go so far. If you are getting a lot of FFUMs, I will bet it is some synergy of strategy and builds. I have been experimenting a bit with the different tackling settings myself, but all I have noticed thus far is more pre-collision growling.


BTW, the rise in FFUM is actually intuitive on one level. I know there is a VA that specifically exploits Wrap Up tackling (allowing a drag-for-yards effect), so I will bet that more DCs are opting for Balanced tackling (or even Aggressive) as a result. At least enough to push the margin noticeably league-wide.

We have not had 5 FF all season and yea I was pulling my hair out over this game we more less let them stay in this game. Turnovers and stupid mistakes by our ST really hurt us, but I was up with my DC last night and that will be taken care. Our OC had to have a shot of whiskey and a bloody mary this morning because he couldnt believe all the mistakes his offense made. We have corrected those mistakes thanks to Whiskey and Black for pointing them out to us and really a GG you guys will be force next season and I look forward to us meeting in the championship game.

I wouldn't really put much weight behind offseason games. Alot of teams test things out to see if Bort screwed stuff over.
