1. Danish- By way of Taylor losing, Danish inherits the top spot. Just by gancing at the schedule I figure they will have a few tougher than one would think games over the next 5 before a matchup with Taylor and a season ender with PM.
2. Port Moresby 2 out of the next 4 games could be interesting. The Knights and Cobden, both teams who have solid talent and can beat anyone on any given day. The Knights have experience in AA so it should make for a very interesting game. These teams met once last season with PM winning 31-24. I expect a game just as close.
3. Trilla- Knocked off previously undefeated Taylor and their only loss was a close one to the #1 Danes, a game the Danes had to win in the 4th quarter. I stand by my comments that Trilla, even when overmatched in levels, gameplans better than anyone out there. Interesting measuring stick coming next game with Siracusa.
4. Taylor- Lost to a very good Trilla team. Gets a week to work on some things before a game with the Michelin Men. Taylor gets PM and the Danes back to back in 3 weeks, but, cant get caught looking ahead.
5. Michelin Men- Dominated the game with Cobden even though Cobden won. So some heads will shake that I dont have Cobden ahead of the GCMM, but, I still think the Michelin Men will fare better as the season unfolds. The Men have an easy week before a game with Taylor. Will be a great game to see.
6.Cobden- They beat the GCMM and are proving to be a solid team. Outside of a close loss to Taylor, they have done well. They should handle the Shrooms before a 3 week stretch which will make or break their season. I just dont see them getting another game where the Sim offers them 2 Pick Sixes and a KR for a TD all in the same game. Solid team, playoff team, but, lets hold tight and see if they can maintain this in the 3 games they have coming. I have underestimated this team so far, but, I wont any longer.
7. Norfolk- Passed the Bendigo test and now gets the top 2 in the league back to back. They have positioned themselves well so that even if they lose both, they are still in good shape for the playoffs. Will be interesting to see how they fare in the next two as they get two teams who run the ball extremely well. Just cant get that game with the GCMM out of my thought process about these guys.
8.Bendigo- The old saying about hitting a wall comes to mind here. They are a solid team and will still battle for a playoff spot, but, they are finding that the talent level up here in AA of the teams who were already here is pretty stiff. Back to back losses to AA vets and no walkover game on the horizon. They will tighten up now and make a playoff run.
9. Siracusa- Took out their frustrations on Suva and next week get Trilla. This will be a game between what I consider to be two of the top gameplanning teams around. Been 2 seasons since these teams met and I think Siracusa wants to get a better outcome.
10. McNuggets- Riding high after wins over the Shrooms and Sawfish the Nuggets were trying to make a name with a home game against PM. It didnt work out for them and now theri reward is a game with league power Danish. Getting these two back to back is not a chore that is easy. Not a game to try and right your team.
11. Shrooms- Tough game with Telstar and now gets Cobden. Probably falls another game back after that one.
12. Puerto Rico- Temporarily righted the ship, but now gets Taylor, Trilla , and GCMM in a row. Could be a rough 3 week stretch.
13. Telstar- Improving each week, but, now gets a 3 week run of Bendigo, and league powers PM and the Danes.Rev will have them ready, but, they are a bit overmatched in this stretch. One of 3 teams unfortunate enough to get PM and Danish back to back.

Either Guam or Suva will finally get a win as they play one anopther this coming week. I am figuring Guam wins and the Aussies and Suva will be playing in the futility game later in the season.

How did it feel to know that your blood is purple before leaving your head?
