Telstar Vs Shrooms
Rev has his team moving in the right direction. Even in the loss to the men, they made it a tough game. The Shrooms have dropped 2 in a row and I am getting a funny feeling, Telstar makes it 3 Ls in a row for the Shrooms.
The " Not sure what happened, but, this game wont help" Game
Guam vs Danish
I keep waiting for Guam to be Guam and get better. SO far that has not happened and it wont start against Danish.
The " Is one win better than none" Game
Puerto Rico vs Aussies
In this case it is. Ill take the Coquis past and assume they get it together against the winless Aussies.
The " Almost there, but, not quite" Game
Cobden Vs Michelin Men
TRhe last time these teams played, Cobden won. But, that was season 7 and the Men have made some improvements. I expect a VERY close game early, but, the Men to pull away late. Cobden is a solid team and at the top of the second tier, but, so far, the Men are solidly in the top tier.
The " So we lost One...Just One" Game
Bendigo Vs Norfolk
Bendigos loss was a close one to the McNuggets. The Knights got ripped by the michelin Men. bendigo has the better loss so Ill take them to win this tight game.
Game of the week
Taylor Vs Trilla
Taylor has me puzzled because I know they are good, but, How good? Close win over Cobden, the rest blowouts.
Trillas one loss is to Danish but they let Suva score 22 points and roll up 400 yards on them. The last time these teams played was in Season 7 and Trilla won 35-31. As much as I like both of these teams, I think that trend holds and Trilla knocks Taylor out of the unbeaten ranks.
The RESPECT game
McNuggets vs Port Moresby
OK, simply put, Respect is earned not given. Last time these two played in season 7 resulted in an 87-17 disaster for the McNuggets. They have improved. Improved enough to be demanding respect and rightfully so after beating Bendigo. But, again, it is earned not given. And they wont do enough to earn it this week. They are better than 87-17, but, not quite there yet. PM wins this game.
