Apparently it was a lottery with the higher amount of fame buying the player more "tickets" for the lottery. At least that's how I understood it.
I still think it's a load of crap but at least it looks to be a little better this time around.

Our TE got +1 Blocking and +1 Receiving.
Like you say, hb, it's not going to hurt and it's not exactly going to great the game wide open either.

The new endorsements pretty much screwed my team, as we had like 5 on the first go around. Personally, I wish Bort would just scrap VAs, fame, and endorsements. I bet if they put half the effort in to fixing the SIM as they have put in to these things, the game would be so much better.

We didn't have a choice as to where we played last season. You can only move up 1 league at a time.
As far as even playing field goes, are you serious? VA's have already taken away any chance of fair ever existing.

Hell how i remember it.... They gave up an AVERAGE of 5 levels across the board to a couple of teams last season ( we had them by an average of 8)
So... They never had an EVEN playing Field........
I hope my team is Retired before I have to play NBK "on an even playing field" We can barely deal with them when we have a massive level advantage.....

No, I see your point, however, I don't really agree with it.
I saw the 5 endorsements that my team received as a reward for playing well against equal level competition. Every league had the same amount of endorsements up for grabs; and the higher the level of the league, the better they were.
And while you are pointing out that we took 5 endorsements from the A league, you are neglecting the fact that bbb teams moved up with promotions as well. In fact, with all things equal, the only leagues that would wind up with more than the allotted amounts of endorsements would be the Pro leagues. They would more than likely hold on to all of their own endorsements and the teams moving up from AAA would bring some with them.
Personally, I hate endorsements, VAs, and fame. I think that they have increased the gap between the elite teams and the up and comers.
