I have to say -- I do not understand the way the spreadsheet makes the picks.

Two weeks ago, we lost and it projected the Frogs ending the season at 14-2.

Then we won and it projected us at 10-6

Then we lose and it projects 12-4.


At what point does losing not improve our projections?

If I beat Cairo I am going to be pissed.

The problem is the guts. We have 2+ in elephant so that conf is more volatile. It will begin to count the guts more evenly.

thing is if you d0nt beat teams by as much as it predicted you to you go down even though you get the win

and if you lose better than you were projected, you go up.

now both of those make sense, but the thing is that the projections are so volatile that scores can even be in the 4-digit range early in the season.

so lesson to learn, dont actually pay attention to this spreadsheet until week 6 or 7, otherwise its just to extreme and is just trend-finding until then.

In the history of the Frogs, we rarely win when picked to win and usually pull upsets when picked to lose.
